Yeah uh i had no idea he was gonna be dumb enough to rest Mata and Lampard in such an important game.Sure you can say that they're just two players but they make a big difference in team play.Malouda was absolutely invisible for most of the game as he always is whenever he does play so it was like we were one man short.And now,thanks to this mistake there's even more pressure on us to win the CL.

Cisse's strike is incredible, i'm not taking anything away from it, but I don't know if even he expected it to bend quite that much. Absolutely great effort though. Probably one of the signings of the last few years.
I didn't say i want him out.......that would be crazy.This is only his second loss in as many games ,the other coming vs City away who are unbeaten at home in the PL so far.He helped overturn a 3-1 deficit vs Napoli and beat Barcelona on aggregate and reach the CL final.There's no reason to ask for his head but it was a stupid thing to underestimate Newcastle and leave Mata and Lampard out and play someone like Malouda......especially since we couldn't play our best defensive combination because of Cahill's injury.I'm not calling for his head,certainly not after all that he has done but the truth is that he made a mistake here and that cannot be ignored because this was a must win game.And now he has brought even greater pressure on both him and the players(as if there wasn't enough already) to win CL and this pressure might be too much for them to handle(although i hope it isn't).
EDIT:The lengthy explanation aside,i'm also extremely short tempered and impatient so i was very pissed after the match.It's so frustrating when the opposition scores that late and kills the game off.Maybe it's sorta my fault.I forgot to post 'FUCK TORRES!' before the match :P

i bet you guys going crazy over papiss cisse are the same people who thought spurs could actually win the title.
i've watched him for a couple of years in the bundesliga and trust me he's overachieved massively. you could argue that he sliced the ball and it went into the opposite side of the goal to where he was aiming but he's already scored a goal with the outside of his right boot so i'll give him the benefit of the doubt.
Coates scores a potential goal of the season then Crouch scores a better one just a few days later...
Suarez scores a potential goal of the season then Cisse scores a better one just a few days later...

Cisse's goals were incredible, as have most of his goals this season. Top quality finisher. If Newcastle don't finish fourth I think they could lose him, sadly. But even that might not be enough if Chelsea win the Champions League. A lot of Newcastle fans seem to hate Man Utd, I don't really get why. We pipped you to one title when you were good and Kevin Kegan is a retard. But I still like Newcastle haha.
As for the title race... United were so poor on Monday night. I think that performance was worse than when City beat us 1-6. It was incredibly disappointing, I can't believe a Manchester United side can't turn up for such an important game. Any fan of any team should be able to admit that United always rise to the occasion even if they end up losing. But in that game, they just didn't. City were good, don't get me wrong. They did everything they needed to, but United were just diabolical.
We're relying on Newcastle now. If they hadn't have beaten Chelsea last night, I would have said it was over already. But with Newcastle most likely needing two wins to have a shot at finishing fourth, I expect them to give Man City a game. If they take points off of Man City I will have a wank. But I'm not expecting anything. One Newcastle fan I spoke to actually wants Newcastle to lose so City win the title. I was like, what? Are you serious? You'd really give up your teams chance of Champions League football to see Man Utd not win the league. I think that is ridiculous, even if it was from a Liverpool fan.

and you're a Man Utd fan - surely you know that everyone hates you. it's cost of your phenomenal success. while yous are obviously not popular up here, i think it's a sort of respectful hate - Fergie has always been quite complimentary towards us and we've gave you enough thumpings over the years that we can sidestep the inferiority complex if we choose to. still love it when we beat you though, love it.
