Pokemon Black 2 and White 2 Move Tutor Moves

Superpower will be great on Zekrom for removing Ferrothorn, as well as not having to use Outrage against Dialga. Bolt Strike / Outrage / Superpower / Dragon Claw seems like a pretty solid set.

Roost Multiscale Lugia will laugh even at Zekrom, though.

Doesn't Zekrom's Teravolt ability negate Multiscale? He should be able to rip right through Lugia.

That will the best wall of all time. I absolutely cannot wait for it to come to PO. 9Referring to Poison Heal Roost Gliscor)

So, does Typhlosion get Earth Power? It'll give it some badly-needed coverage which, while not completely game-breaking, will allow it some useability in UU or even OU.

Here is another tutor to watch out for: Endeavor. It is unlikely, but if it happens that Magic Guard Alakazam gets Endeavor it will be better than countercoat...

Can you imagine this: surviving a hit with 1 HP after you revenge kill something and then hit the thing coming in to 1 HP :o You could even save it for latter to have a sweep by threatening the kill or hitting the switch in for 1 HP who then dies. I think it would be the ultimate wall breaker. What is endeavor's flavor? Is it possible for it to get it?

That one is gonna be hell to break. So hard to 2HKO without an ice move....
Even something like like SD/BP/EQ/Roost with poison heal is gonna be really annoying.

Agreed. Even though Keldeo makes it not the be all end all stop to Fighting offense, SR / Roost / EQ / (Toxic/Taunt/U-turn) is going to be everywhere.

If Volcarona got Earth Power, that'd be a great coverage move, that would allow it to beat non-Balloon Heatran. Also, Volcarona earning Roost seems appealing, as it would be a more reliable recovery move than Morning Sun, which is dependant on Sun being up to recover a good amount of health. If Hydreigon did get Roost, it could finally give Latios some competition again, as Latios wouldn't be able to boast anymore from having a reliable source of recovery in Recover.

That Gliscor set will be one of the greatest Physical Walls in OU. Gliscor will have a definite spike in usage.

So far, only Drill Run seems interesting to me, and that's if more strange non-Ground mons like Fearow get it.

EDIT: I'm especially thinking about Escavalier here, who (only) needs some coverage moves to be a great Pokemon.

I think that most things that will get Drill Run will be those that already have acess to Earthquake, wich is obviously better. This will be also learned by Flying-types with beak (I think, since Fearow gets this move), but I still can't see this move being used since most Flying-types with beak don't have offensive presence (EX: Mandibuzz), are defensive (EX: Skarmory), already learn Earthquake (EX: Ho-Oh), sucks (EX: Pidgeot), don't have a good Attack to use this move effectively (EX: Togekiss) or already have another more effective move that supplies coverage needs (EX: Braviary). In my opinion Drill Run will barely get any use.

I see drill run becoming a staple in lower tier birds, like unfezant, Pidgeot, moltres maybe, pelliper, and swanna (assuming they get it, and why not, mons get crazy tutor moves all the time) simply because those birds often have crap for movepools, which is probably half the reason they're in NU and RU. Besides, look at pelliper's beak. That thing could cut diamonds like they were butter.

I'm more hyped about Ferro finally running stealth rocks, spikes, and leech seed. Gliscor can still be handled by any ice move; regardless of such an amazing physical bulk. Just like anything else of course.

Wait just a minute there. Nidoqueen can finall be bulky, have rocks AND run an offensive set with said rocks? Sign me up for some of that.

Yo I forgot about Nidoqueen, being able to sun rocks with sheer force is a big boost, thanks.

I am not sure if I can just quite stop circle jerking about roost Gliscor though.

I know, but with waterfall you don't lock yourself into outrage nor you get confusion. Plus dragon+water is only resisted by Ferrothorn in OU i.e. perfect neutral coverage with just 2 moves and you can still use brick break for Ferro (or why not superpower if it gets it).

True, but Haxorus will need a boost (from CB or SD) in order to actually damage Gliscor, and 9 times out of 10 i'd rather be locked into Outrage instead of a non-stabbed 90BP water move. I just don't really see the move being useful in most circumstances.

Anyway at this point i've given up on Haxorus getting Fire Punch (don't wanna set myself up for a disappointment.) and i'm gunning for Thunderpunch instead.

How will we know what mons get which tutor moves? Will someone have to brute force it in game, going through all the mons and checking what they can learn?

It's more likely the ROM will leak first, allowing us to extract the information from that.

That said, anyone who happens to have a copy, don't be afraid to try things out!

Man I hope Snover will get Endeavor. Level 1 Endeavor + Snow Warning + Focus Sash = the best suicide weather lead ever.

Don't you have EP?

I've had that stupid thing switch in on me with a Balloon more times than I can count. Except for the part where Stealth Rocks keep getting spun off. You are right though, between Fire, Dragon, Ground, and Dark, we have perfect coverage against almost everything. Nothing fully resists the entire gamut. Unless your name is Blissey, Chansey, or some variant of Tyranitar.

Reuniclus gets Endeavor, so I guess it's possible for Zam to get it. Reuniclus is too slow and bulky to use it effectively, but SashZam would be great abuser, especially in Hail. It's be nice if Zam got Vacuum Wave to go with it.

I have realized that Synthesis is a tutor move for Black 2/White 2. It would be great if Ferrothorn gets Synthesis, although with all the sandstorm and rain going about in the metagame, I don't know how effective that would be. There's also Sun, which would boost Synthesis' effect, but Sand would still make Synthesis unreliable, to say the least.

If it got it from the Pt/HGSS tutors, then it'll most likely get it. If it didn't, then it most likely won't get it.

Most of these changes won't have shit on Amoonguss...if it does get Regen. It can still take on Haxorus, Keldeo, most Conkeldurr, and even Gliscor should it need to.

Also, Landorus getting elemental punches is scaring me more than the rest of this stuff is...Banded Landorus will get some fun new toys to play with.

I'm not sure why people get so excited by roost on Gliscor. I think that people will continue to run protect to scout for choiced Pokemon like Rotom and Landorus.

Oh and PKgaming: I was thinking about a set with dragon dance/aqua tail/outrage/superpower (hopefully)
