With all of this in mind, is there any idea of how voting requirements are going to be handled?

Even if there were voting requirements for suspects votes you couldn't do them on showdown. Right now, Showdown's ladder isn't functioning properly and it has a lot of oddities with the point system. For example you can lose points even if you win against a very, very low rank player. Sometimes you get variations where if you win you get +1 but lose is like -130 lol

edit: wow 500 posts! only half way to 1K :o

Tell me about it! I have battles where even when I win, I don't get credit for them! I've had that happen to me like 5 times.

Server says you have to win a rated battle to register. So I play a rated battle, win, and register, then check my rating. I'm told I have 0 wins and 1 loss. Something's wrong here.

The Showdown! ladder system is extremely broken. You probably faced a very low-ranked person, causing you to lose rank and therefore have the system count it as a loss.

If a Normalize Poké uses Spikes, Toxic Spikes, or Stealth Rock, are they changed in any way?

Repost: How does Reflect Type work against a Color Change Pokémon or a Poké that has used Conversion (or Conversion variants)?

Zacchaeus:

No, the effect remains the same regardless of the attack's type. For example, Stealth Rock always checks the "type effectiveness of the Rock type" during its effect, not the type effectiveness of Stealth Rock's type.

Reflect Type will use the types that the opponent currently has, whether they were changed with Color Change, Conversion, or any other way.

Is Lucario with Crunch and Justified now legal? Thanks in advance!

Dreamworld Ability having Riolu's have been released through Dream Radar, and Crunch is an egg move. Unless the game for some unknown reason only has male Riolu (which I haven't heard anywhere and would contradict Serebii saying you can now breed Lucario to pass down its dreamworld ability), the combination is now legal.

Does the technician boost apply to moves that vary in power? Like, say I used Grass Knot on a pokemon and the pokemon's weight made it so the BP would be 50, would it recieve the technician boost? Also for things such as Magnitude with varying but set strengths?

The Technician boost is applied if the move's base power is 60 or below before factoring STAB and type effectiveness. So if the opponent weighs 50 kg resulting in a 60 BP Grass Knot, Technician is applied. If the opponent weighs 100 kg resulting in a 80 BP Grass knot, Technician is not applied. The same pattern goes for all moves, the most common example being Acrobatics: If you are holding an item, Acrobatics receives the Technician boost, but if you aren't holding an item, (making the new base power 110,) Technician doesn't boost the attack

Are we allowed to use new Black and White 2 forms like thunderus Thesian form and moves that are unobtainable in black and white like poison heal gliscor with stealth rock in standard matches?

Does Shield Dust prevent the 'secondary effect' of Clear Smog?

Can someone actually check this on cartridge if possible, instead of just guessing 'it would make sense to...'

Thanks
