League of Legends: Let's Talk About uhhh??

I couldn't even tell you what the non-Sheen blue swords in that ss do off the top of my head other than the one gives as and builds into Nashors I think. Oh, and they're called something like Moonflair Blade and Stinger. And the only reason I know that is Ionic Spark is because Lightbringer is Dominion only, right? What is the with trend of stacking blue swords?

The (Korean) heavy pushing meta punishes the lategame-oriented carries because as we saw in TSM vs LGN, Vayne's turrets were all taken before she could actually do anything notable because the rest of her lanes lost hard and this prevented her from farming really at all. She and Kog'Maw have no place in "take all outer and inner turrets by 20min" comps. They should never even come CLOSE to hitting their lategame farm and build against comps like this unless the push comp plays horribly wrong.

Miss Fortune and Caitlyn, traditionally strong earlygame carries, are now outclassed by Graves and Corki. Literally, why play either when gravves and plane boy.

It was nice to see Cait actually get picked and have a 100% winrate. And holy balls I nearly cried when Vayne finally made her appearance and we were blessed enough to be graced with Kog'Maw in the final game.

Gee, maybe Caitlyn can actually poke under tower better than most champions in the lategame. Maybe she's secretly strong as shit again without any changes with Nunu and Sona buffs.

Moonflair Spellblade gives AP and tenacity. It's the best item in the game, after Wiggles Lantern and doubleswords.

Especially on Ashe. (And Diana...)

Cho'Gath is amazing. Why is he (it?) so underused in tournaments? He has unholy sustain that makes him near impossible to knock out of lane, Nautilus/Blitzcrank-lite CC for incredible chasing/disruption, deceptively high damage, god-like tankiness that's respectable with even 0 stacks, and an AoE auto-attack that's literally free, which makes even noobs like me farm easily. O.o

Cho is also incredibly versatile both in terms of builds and playstyle. He can run full tank thanks to his incredible passive/base defense stats/feast, and while he has no escape, he has multiple forms of AoE CC to survive. He can go AP to deal heavy burst damage with Rupture+Feral Scream+AAs+Feast, and deal incredibly high DPS just short of your carries with those AoE autoattacks. Hell, he can theoretically jungle too with all that AoE, sustain, and CC for ganking (although his jungling speed might be slow and is skillshot reliant). He's great at contesting buffs and taking objectives like baron because Feast outdamages Smite. He's great at chasing down low health opponents if you can land a good Rupture, as well as escaping/helping teammates escape if you can, well, land a good Rupture. He can roam and gank mid well because silence is a mage's worst nightmare. He's extremely disruptive in teamfights with his AoE silence and knockup. He's a great executioner because Feast true damage OP.

Most importantly, a level 16 Cho'gath with 6 stacks takes up so much of the screen that your opponents don't really have a choice but to focus you :D

Cho'gath is everything you ever wanted in a tank and so much more, why is it that not a single pro/high elo game I've watched picks him?

It used to be that his rupture was really inconsistent, so you'd end up not CC'ing anything, but with the recent buffs I expect to see more Cho'gath, especially from past pros that used a lot of him (like HotShotGG / TheRainMan).

I love Caitlyn. I never used to play ADC because I had shitty positioning but I'm starting to get the hang of it. I love melting people in team fights. Her kit is weak compared to the other ADCs but it fits my style so perfectly. I also got my first quadra kill with her. Should have been penta but they had a Teemo. He just ran like a punk once I got the double.

not sure if serious

I am disappointed in you. You... are clearly unworthy of wielding the Master Sword...

smh Stagnant.

I've gotten two almost-pentas (as opposed to quadras that weren't likely pentas), both in ARAMs. First as Miss Fortune. My ult got a triple kill and I Double Upped for the fourth. Bitch enemy Leona on no HP Flashed away =[ The second, I was a fairly fed Sivir, but it got stolen by a Karthus AoE tick... D:

Moonflair Spellblade is pretty awful. But I am talking from my elo's point of view, I just don't see it helping for the price when you could invest in Merc's or QSS. AD carries in general don't build these items anyway unless they really need to since your support should be covering you in fights.

Ok so I've tried some jungling in player games twice now and both times i've fed and surrendered at around 20. The second game our top quit so i don't view that as so much my fault, but my count of kills from ganks is exactly 0. Twice i've forced flashes, but i still feel like i'm doing something wrong. Like as udyr today, i pinged the targets, bear stanced and followed up the hit with an immediate swap to phoenix. They generally just walked away or even worse, turned on me and forced me to go b. I'm not sure if i'm just ganking them when they're not pushed enough or what, but everywhere i see that putting pressure on the lanes is so important as a jungler and that everyone hates junglers who just abandon the team and farm the jungle (i don't really experience much of this because i play champions which just farm their lane hard until late game most of the time so idk personally).

This is probably getting quite confusing to read because of the way i write, so my question is as follows: is there any more you can do while ganking (as udyr or otherwise) than go in, cc and then try and do as much damage as you can to force a flash or a kill?

I agree moon blade is not bad but there are so many better items.Tenacity is nice and all but I rather get trends and the ability power is ok.. But I rather spend the 1200g on a blasting wand or w/e to work towards a bigger item like rabadons, abyssal staff, dfg, etc etc

Tell your team to help you deal damage. Udyr and other top tier junglers (not named Lee Sin or Nocturne) deal anywhere between average and garbage damage. Your job is to just lock them down and let your ad carry/ap carry/bruiser take them out. Udyr actually has decent damage output for a jungler thanks to Phoenix, so you shouldn't have that much issue helping your carries get kills.

omg nobody understands about the Moonflair Spellblade. You people make me ashamed.

Plus it's called fucking Moonflair Spellblade and it's the prettiest item in the game.

First post in thread!

AP Teemo is apparently getting a pretty serious buff in the upcoming patch (at least if it carries over from PBE) -- the on-hit ratio on his poison is being boosted to 0.4. This is huge -- makes me want to try and play AP Teemo now, he seems pretty viable with that.

Moonflair Spellblade and Kage's Lucky Pick should actually switch names (and art if you so desire) because Tenacious D = Tenacity.
