Autumn Friendly 2012

Just got in man, I was very busy yesterday. At least it's friday :P I can do whatever I'm satisfied with. Just got first two easy wins, but good opponents though.

Okay, I'm setting this thing down at 50 battles for tonight. My rating's about 1640-something, I didn't check to see the update. Right now I'm sitting at a record of 32-14, with 4 DCs. A lot of my losses, especially to higher ranked peeps seem to have come from me picking a bad pair to lead off with against better judgement. But you win some, you lose some, you know?

Anyone else having trouble finding a battle? I've been searching for more than 20 minutes now. Haven't been DC'd on recently or anything.

Seriously, those last three d/c's pissed me off. Not my fault I outplayed the bunch of them.

Man, the players are getting better this time around, barely made it in this one:

56-38289-46241

Toying with a Venusaur in Trick Room. As you can see, he does pretty good, although I underestimated his power and got him killed :-(

The last pokemon didn't have a Rhyperior in it.
In the article Huy stated he never used Rhyperior and it was just on the team to scare people from using electric attacks on Gyarados. I'm guessing he is trying to see if there is a good replacement for it, and has since switched it out to (iirc)Nidoking.

THAT was the one.
Btw does anyone know -KGC-

18-2-6 record so far

If it's not running one or both of Aura Sphere and Weather Ball they're doing it wrong. Although I suppose ExtremeSpeed does have some merit... maybe. But not really.

Well I was expecting ExtremeSpeed for my almost late Hariyama, but he set up rain dance, and then I switched to avoid Thunder, and then he forfeited, odd.

So I'm playijng Jrank...

And my protect failed because I used Quick Guard last turn??? WTF?

Yeah, not knowing that cost me the game. I "ran"... SOAB, since my first turn was stupid good.

So far I'm 21-1-8. I like how I'm doing so far, bunch of DCs though, my Amoonguss is an asshole. My only loss was against that hail/special Gyarados team. I just didn't know what to expect and failed in the battle. My ranking is around 1690 but I don't think a couple of those count because my wifi reset or something while results were being sent.

Quick Guard and Protect run on the same counter lol. That was a pretty wicked first turn and tbh BU+RS/CC would've been gg for me, but once I got Terrakion out of the way I knew you couldn't really touch Rotom-H. (also as long as your Terrakion was >140ish Speed stat it outsped my whole team, no need for Tailwind lol)

Alright, so I played 25 matches, here's all of them:

SEBAS- 1410- 3-0 win
Louis- 1564- 1-0 win
Deku- 1702- 1-0 win
OMR- 1473- 4-0 win

11:11pm- 1660- 3-0 win
Ollie- 1539- 2-0 win
Korean girl- 1474- 3-0 win
Trenton- 1425- 4-0 win

Had I known, I would have CCed your Hitmontop (who I officially hate. A counter to so much, and yet I don't know how to play him!).

I said "You know, I'll play it safe", and then it failed and I was like "what?" LOL! :P

I would have tailwinded just in case (you could have TWed when you brought your Thundurus back in), but I would have attacked that turn too.

Maybe we'll rematch if I don't suck too much. :P

I registered on time in the global link website, yet everytime I try to join the wifi tournament I'm told there isn't one going on right now and that you can't play in the same tournament twice. Can anyone help me figure out what I'm doing wrong??

Well with that guy D/Cing after the battle ended I'm going to stop for now. Want to keep an accurate counter. 17-5-8 (-1 win/+1D/C if that last battle didn't count).
