How old school are you?

Im so oldschool knew Misty before he had a girls name (or at least knew of).
Nowadays people think they are oldschool just for knowing who Misty is.

Netbattle was non-shitty but didn't have a server listing -- which was kind of crappy, but people would drop into the default server and tell you about better ones

Warcraft 3 was new and exciting
 
anyone else remember (chaos im trusting you here) when someone named 'dark absol' or something made a thread in pre-firebot firebot saying something like 'talk about whatever you want! this forum will be open all week, so post away!' and everyone thought it was hilarious so the forum was renamed to something like 'dark absol's domain' for a while?

i remember laughing hysterically about it but i dont recall the specifics

i hesitate to ask where people went because i imagine namechanges have happened and the hell with keeping up with that

also like once a year i check on tpm to make sure it's still shit, i was a mod once then realized it was all really dumb and ruined it because the card game became crap

I'm so old school I remember when this forum was called Eh forum.

Actually I'm quite literally old-school in a lot of ways, but it seems like y'all have substituted old-school for "been on smogon a long time", and I can't claim to have that kind of seniority.
