Are stats maxed at 252 or 255 this gen? If I am EV training with Pokerus/Power items, will I have to account for the fact that I might overshoot the stats?
 
I apologize for my stupid question earlier. Could one of you point me in the direction of where to learn about all of this battling stuff/calculating stuff? I tried to learn back in DP days but I could never understand it.

Dream World Ability offspring:
Male Dream World + Ditto
Female Dream World + anything

Females as a general breeding rule are supposedly 80% likely to pass on their ability to their offspring, so the chances might be better with a female parent.

What sort of stuff are you after? Smogon has lots of articles on battling. http://www.smogon.com/bw/articles/ is for most of the BW stuff, keep your eye out in the next few weeks as Gen 6 stuff starts coming on site.
 
Hello mates, I've always had a big doubt. I was wondering if anyone here could clarify it for me. Are my pokemon's stats affected if I train it only with the Exp. Share or just emidiatley switch them out of battle? Or do they grow normally? I completely super trained with a Dratini (five perfect IVs) but it's very hard to train it all the way from level 1 and I was wondering if I could just turn the Exp. Share on without it's progress being negativley affected or not gorwing at max. I hope I was clear enough for my doubt to be understood. Thanks in advance

If you've completely EV'd your Dratini, then no matter how it gets experience, Exp Share or not, it will not gain any more EVs and thus you can train it however you want. Those EVs will show themselves through leveling, so a maxed out lvl1 mon doesn't care where it gets its exp.

I've got a question of my own. I currently have a team of Gyarados, MMawile, Greninja, Sylveon, and Talonflame. My last slot alternates between Dragalge and Whiscash, simply because I've EV trained them and they have great IVs. However, I find that I have a lot of trouble with Rotom W in Wifi battles, so I'm considering getting a new member to replace my sixth slot. Any suggestions as to what to use? Something obtainable in-game. I thought about using Gastrodon, but I have no Friend Safaris with it in them. And everyone on the GTS wants Xerneas or Yveltal for one. :v

or maybe a dry skin heliolisk will work, they're easily obtainable and a few people have almost flawless ones for trade

Thanks a lot mate. And I would recomend a Braviary, you can't get them in-game unless you have them in your safari, but I have a bunch of Rufflets with four perfect IVs, I can give you one if you'd like

What is the behavior for the roaming legendary birds? They don't match up with the old behavior up till D/P, as far as I can tell, and I don't think I ever hunted roaming Pokemon in b/w.

Also the time to check out the pokedex is ridiculously long because of loading times.

If you hit "A", you can load the Pokedex faster.

Can I use the Friend Safari if I am the only one who has registered a Friend Code? (They have not registered me.)

The birds follow the same roaming behavior of other generations as far as I can tell. Moving from route-to-route will cause them to move, unless you do it through a "Route Gate" such as the ones connecting Lumiose City to the other routes.

After awhile they will decide to nest in the cave in Azure Bay and become stationary. Or so I'm told, I haven't tried to catch mine yet.
 
I'm trying to breed a flawless Jolly Gible with Rough Skin. I have two parents, a foreign Deino with 31/31/x/31/31/x and a Gible with x/31/31/x/31/31. What are the chances of me getting a flawless kid? I'm not great with math at all so I figured someone could help me here.
Also, what IVs are recommended for a Jolly Garchomp? Do I absolutely need a 31 in HP and both defenses? Or I could I get away with just one of them being subpar?

I hope this doesn't require much work to answer. I didn't know where else to ask.
