No, when that happens it says 'the pokemon has already been traded- I get that message a lot. Iwas only commenting on it because it would not let me do the trade- it said my pokemon could not be traded.

Did you ever apply the XY patch found in the e-shop? It fixed a lot of issues with the GTS.

I've traded Pokemon on the GTS and I haven't downloaded the patch yet, but I've never gotten that message. Was it in your party with an HM? I'm not sure what the error message for that is...

anyone done any research on sweet scent? i keep seeing a lot of shiny yanma on the GTS and had friends find shines in swarms quite quick using this method.
am i missing something because i find lots of normal stuff.

Each horde encounter is 5 Pokemon, so the chances of finding a shiny are 5x higher, though I don't know if there's anything else beyond that.

I believe, from past games, you had to complete the battle for Pickup's chance to be applied. This is just what I remember from 3rd gen, though, and the mechanics may have changed.

I'm using a lv75 Fearow (Brave 252 att) to false swipe dittos in the safari. Against Imposter Ditto, I get hit for about 30 damage from false swipe, while I deal about 60 damage back.

How is this possible? Shouldn't Ditto have the exact same stats as my fearow, therefore doing the same amount of damage? The difference is also too large to just be random variation.

Level is a part of the damage formula. You do less damage to Pokemon than a Pokemon of a higher level.

Although I don't know the answer to the second question, I would assume that you can re-get pokemon from events if you reset the file because in BWBW2, you can.

Pumpkaboo's size is taken from the mother 100% of the time. I believe in the case of Ditto it goes with the male's size, but I'm not sure about that.

You only have to do so once--after the first time you are online together, you can find whatever in their Safari.

Oh, great. Things just got exponentially harder. The key figure in my breeding is a 6IV female japanese Ralts with Sync, it means I'll have to make do with it. I want to breed till I got a shiny, so I don't believe it'll be harder to find a perfect tracer than it's to find a shiny.

I am pretty sure one parent must always have a lightball attached. Pikachu is incapable of passing down volt tackle as an egg move. The move is inherently tied to the Light Ball.
