What's so bad about dragon pulse heatran?
It just struck me as weird to see. Heatran has a ton of better moves to be running, and the only things that Dragon Pulse hits hard are dragons. Plus, Heatran can run HP Ice to get past them and Ground-types with the same move.

Lava Plume does the same damage as HP Ice against Ground-types and burns, Dragon Pulse has 170 base power against Dragons while HP Ice has 120. So it is an option.

Chikorita in Ubers? Totally viable.

When I asked him about it he said:

You can't make this shit up.

Are you kidding???? Chikorita is the best Kyogre counter in existence!
252+ SpA Choice Specs Kyogre Ice Beam vs. 252 HP / 252+ SpD Eviolite Chikorita: 226-268 (76.8 - 91.1%) -- guaranteed 2HKO
:D

Random Shit volume 43: Yet Another Snowstorm Edition
-ANOTHER Red team, this one with White Herb mixed Venusaur and Pikachu barely leaving a dent in Donphan.
-Vileplume.
-The newest Cloyster check: Mixed Torkoal. It did work, but that's all it managed to do.
-Belly Drum Darmanitan trying to set up on Slowbro.
-Persian.
-Belly Drum Linoone thinking it could set up against Cobalion. Spoiler alert: it couldn't.
-Another one, this time against Infernape.
-You know what you can set up on, though? U-turn.
-Poison Point Nidoking.
-Bounce Sharpedo.
-Leaving Heracross in against said Sharpedo.
-Numel.
-Galvantula using both Thunder Wave and Volt Switch against Garchomp.
-Shadow Ball Mandibuzz.
-What do you switch in on M-Mawile? How about Low Kick Weavile?
-BP'ing +2 speed to... Lunatone. Oh, it was part of a BP chain.
-Hyper Voice Jolteon.
-Flareon with Facade, but no status.
-Clefable with no doubt the least useful of its three abilities, Cute Charm. And it only activated when it went down.
-Blizzard Rampardos without Sheer Force.
-Icicle Spear Cloyster without Skill Link.
-Electivire thinking Hammer Arm would be the best move to use against a +6 Deoxys-D.
-"I'm so sorry"? Not against this guy: http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/ou-93981449

I think Unnerve Ttar is weird too. Sure, it mega evolved, but it still didn't have sand for a while, which is its main selling point.

Yawn is a fine move on Espeon. But if you mean Umbreon using on Espeon, then yeah, it was dumb.

It's a very common lure that apparently got you good. Not silly at all, just a bit enraging.

Yeah, I guess I haven't had much experience with Latis this gen, and last gen it was all about special attacks. Looking at Latios' base attack, that's actually not a bad set.

Especially now that it has a mega with 130 base attack and dragon dance. Physical Latios alone + Draco meteor might be the new set. Who knows.

Actually that's not so crazy, given it's his only viable flying STAB. He might have better options but it's not totally silly.

Except it is the most useless move, as Sun boosted Fire Blast hits harder on a neutral target than Air Slash:
252 SpA Mega Charizard Y Air Slash vs. 252 HP / 4 SpD Machamp: 324-384 (84.3 - 100%) -- 6.3% chance to OHKO
252 SpA Mega Charizard Y Fire Blast vs. 252 HP / 4 SpD Machamp in Sun: 358-423 (93.2 - 110.1%) -- 62.5% chance to OHKO

The only time it is more useful is against 4x foes :P

Small issue, is that foes hit 4× when using Air Slash, are also hit SE by Fire Blast.

Flying hits Bug, Grass and Fighting for SE damage, and the former two are hit for SE damage by Fire as well, and Fighting does not resist Fire either, resulting in a complete lack of things that are hit 4× by Air Slash but not 2× by Fire Blast.

To be somewhat less abstract, Breloom/Virizion (Grass/Fighting), Leavanny/Wormadam-G (Grass/Bug), and Heracross (Bug/Fighting).

Yeah, Air Slash is very useless really.
