I should have clarified this was also in randbats, since the person I was responding to was talking about them.

Hypno being such a boss probably had to do with it having level advantage over other Pokemon; in randbats, powerful Pokemon get their levels adjusted downward, so getting stuck with a Hypno or some other RU/NU-tier Pokemon isn't an instant 5v6 and scoring a Groudon or something isn't a guaranteed win.

Every time I face a Lumineon in randoms I shit my pants, in this meta that thing is fearsome.

kings rock greninja... with scald... i guess the guy wanted all the hax...

also an other stupid swagki (not stupid but still retarded)

and a blissey without recovery

and shell bell aegislash, because lefties are too mainstream...

these ones were on the same team btw

infernape using flamethrower on my cradily

a man having his cloyster against my confused and paralysed cradily managed to get 2 shell smash up before getting ohko by a +2 rock slide, and just ragequits. No white herb, no focus sash, i don't even know what he expected lol

nevermelt ice cloyster.

So many people setting up on whimsicott. I think they don't understand the prankster...

a guy forfeiting because his klefki's foul play didn't break my whimsicott's sub...

and i paralysed it, but still...

  • staying in with talonflame on a rock type (again, what teh hell is a cradily?)

  • setting up sword dances on a defensive ghost because who cares about the will o wisps ?

  • Aerial ace on gallade ? Is that a thing ?

  • USING LEECH SEED AGAINST A MONO-GRASS !!!!

  • staying in two turns after being encored in SD

  • yet an other person using hypnomiss

  • what seems like a defensive gliscor, but apparently invested in speed. Is that usual ? (i'm not a gliscor user, but i could understand the need to outspeed breloom and not get spored... oh wait ! No ! You have protect for that!)

  • heal bell and toxic orb gliscor in the same team, but again that's just my opinion

  • USING LEECH SEED A SECOND TIME AGAINST A MONO-GRASS !!!!

Ikr, but i had nothing to do and i got really curious on how things would turn out on that battle. Turned out to be a hell e.e

Random Shit volume 79: Windows 8.1.1 (eventually) Edition
-Ninetales with Confuse Ray and Foul Play. Well, with Swagger banned, what else are you gonna do?
-Thunder Wave+Gyro Ball Ferrothorn #5314524.
-Shadow Claw M-Heracross. For what, Gengar, which takes enough from Rock Blast?
-Manectric using Volt Switch on a Porygon2 that had copied Lightning Rod. And not on a switch-in.
-Garchomp using Swords Dance on one turn, and Fire Blast the next.
-In a Heatran vs. Heatran battle, one guy ignored common sense by thinking Fire Blast would have been a good idea.
-Dedenne.
-Of course Dragonite is a good switch-in to Outrage from Haxorus. Multiscale will save you, no problem. /sarcasm
-You know how Jolteon carries HP Ice in case of stuff like Garchomp? Well, this one guy faced this scenario, and decided to use Thunder Wave.
-M-Aggron using Head Smash.
-Y-zard using Solarbeam on said Aggron. And then both fainted due to Head Smash.
-Randy Savage is all you need: http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/ou-107935382
-Gengar using Destiny Bond against Whimsicott.
-It seems today, that all you see...: http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/ou-107945879
-Golduck.
-Metronome, Assist, Sleep Clause, a bad Ash team, and a cameo from Light of Ruin: http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/ou-107944350

Ok this series of events cannot be kept inside of me for much longer. Turn 1, I send out ferrothorn, opponent sends out breloom, Breloom uses SLEEP POWDER, ferrothorn uses stealth rocks, turn 2 breloom uses SPORE ferrothorn used gyroball Brelooms EFFECT SPORE activates and paralyzes ferrothorn. Turn 3 Breloom uses substitute ferrothorn gets parahaxed Turn 4 the icing on the cake, Breloom uses swords dance … You know so spore does that extra damage

Hell_Above
I'm confused, which do you think it is?

Life Orb, White Herb, and Nevermeltice all also have benefits, if cloyster isn't your lead.
I'm going to go with Aggron since Lord Helix? (Omastar does get Swift Swim and Shell Smash so it'll benefit from Kyogre. It'll also appreciate a special defense increase from Tyranitar)

Side A: Fridge. Side B: Houndoom. (Hitmontop is also a little weird)

Edit:

Deoxys-Speed used Dream Eater!
It doesn't affect the opposing Hitmontop...

Rotom-Frost used Thunder!
The opposing Hitmontop avoided the attack!

Rotom-Frost used Blizzard!
The opposing Hitmontop avoided the attack!

Double Miss.jpg

The opposing Gliscor used Earth Power!
Milotic lost 11% of its health!

Milotic restored HP using its Leftovers!
Turn 14

The opposing Gliscor used Ice Fang!
It's not very effective... Milotic lost 11% of its health!
Milotic was frozen solid!

Milotic is frozen solid!

The opposing Gliscor used Aqua Tail!
It's super effective! Blaziken lost 55.0% of its health!

Weakness Policy Togekiss.
It actually worked.

Well, it does have some common weaknesses like Electric and Ice and decent bulk to survive them, but it doesn't have priority or enough speed to abuse Weakness Policy. Behind screens it could actually be a decent strategy. I'd hate to be hit by +2 Air Slash and if Togekiss is able to paralyze you, a +2 Air Slash is to be feared when you can't hit back.

I'd love to know the EV spread for that Togekiss. Did he/she go for bulk for Togekiss to be able to survive super effective hits, or Special Attack and Speed for it to be able to sweep.

  1. Blizzard is the only Ice move Rotom-F learns.
  2. Mega Houndoom is good on a sun team.
  3. Hitmontop is a good physically defensive spinner that can hit harder than Forry with Close Combat.
  4. Ice Fang is a legit move on Gliscor.
