Random Shit volume 84: Purple Wedding Edition
-Aerial Ace Weavile. That's such a mediocre coverage move it's not even funny.
-Rotom-F in general is a little wonky, but this one had both Discharge and Volt Switch.
-Ferrothorn with Explosion. Yeah, I know it's a thing on CB Ferro, but who uses that anyway?
-Latios using Energy Ball on an Azumarill that had already revealed itself to have Sap Sipper.
-Poliwrath being passed +6 Attack, then using Power-up Punch.
-Ion Deluge+Giga Impact Electivire.
-Hydro Cannon Swampert.
-Pidgeot. With Iapapa Berry.
-Drain Punch Blissey.
-Charizard using several physical attacks, then mega evolving... to Y-zard.
-Dedenne. And it used Thunder in the sun (and actually hit).
-Tri Attack Magnezone. And then it used Thunder in the sun (it missed).
-Aurorus using Avalanche... on Cloyster. With the boost and after SS, it did... 10%.
-Non-Magic Bounce Espeon.
-Tri Attack Togekiss.
-Blizzard M-Gyarados. Against Azumarill.
-Extreme Speed+Ice Beam Deoxys-D.

Which Smog issue?

I liked on how the opponent didn't know Quagsire's ability: Unaware.
"Hmm, Quagisre has stockpile and is up to plus 3 def. I know, I'll be greedy and just set up unnecessary DD's."
i get the feeling he was just trying to pp stall himself but he lost patience first, since none of his pokemons attacks could do anything.

Truly some of the best duelers I've ever seen. Luckily your powerful team allowed me to pull through these tough opponents

Yeah, it would have been a good strategy if he had stuck to it, since a +6 gyarados behind a sub would have little trouble destroying the rest of that team. I actually think he should have gone for additional DDs to avoid wasting PP on his attacks

Played my first ladder matches on PS yesterday and I already ran into some pretty interesting stuff to say the least... Unfortunately I didn't save any replays, but none of them were that spectacular anyways.

Stuff I remember off the top of my head include Bulk Up Talonflame, people repeatedly trying to Toxic my Heatran and one guy switching out of my Togekiss to reveal his mighty counter... I don't remember exactly what it was, but I remember it used Focus Blast which did less than the lefties recovery. He immediately quit afterwards.

Bulk up Talonflame isn't that bad because it can work alongside roost.
Dunno... I've mostly seen Talonflame as a hit&run Poke, and it's not like it can take a hit even after bulk up. Not saying it can't work, but the guy using it didn't seem to really have a strategy... Otherwise he would've removed SR first since Talonflame at 50% will die to just about anything if it takes a turn to bulk up.
