Random Shit: Halfway Through 2014 Edition
-Someone either unable or refusing to mega evolve his Mawile.
-Aqua Jet Floatzel (GGF) with a FLAME ORB. It had Switcheroo, but didn't use it before burning itself. Also, Floatzel.
-Dusknoir.
-Rhydon.
-M-Mawile using FPWS (Focus Punch without Substitute, an acronym I shall use going forward). And actually succeeding in tripping a Mamoswine's sash, but that was all it did.
-Donphan.
-Heliolisk (sorry, Hclegend )
-Said Heliolisk using Volt Switch on said Donphan.
-Mismagius using Toxic on Scizor. Twice.
-Dragalge using Toxic on Venusaur.
-Aqua Jet Dragonite. Gotta go not as fast.
-Sludge Bomb Clawitzer.
-Zap Cannon Zapdos.
-Swoobat.
-Ice Beam+Dark Pulse Leftovers Weavile.

- Quick Attack Terrakion. Gotta go fast.
- Choice Scarf Weavile. Gotta go faster.
- Assault Vest Charizard.
- Grass Pledge + Absorb Sceptile.
- Leftovers Chansey.
- Hidden Power Grass + Flamethrower Entei, holding a SITRUS BERRY
- Deoxys-D trying to set up on Xatu.
- Life Orb Blissey.
- Non-Speed Boost Scolipede.

Mawile is somewhat salvageable in NU maybe

- About Gatr, he never revealed what set it is, so I don't know.
- Berry Juice Tropius (Berry Juice isn't a berry stupid)
- I'm not sure if Barrier Avalugg is legit, but it's still kind of stupid.
- Pyroar looked okay though

(I'm OhMyBug, and the team I used is meant for the current Research Week (Half of my team is Research Week "suspects"))

so, my good friend has been sort of on the fence about jumping into the magical world of showdown. in an effort to prove that the ladder is hilariously easy, we rolled up an alt together using a mono-bird (not mono-flying, mono-bird.) team just to see how far we could get.

it's been about 1 hour of playtime total (not counting AFK time) and as of the time of me writing this we're at 1200 and rising. the low ladder has been an adventure so far. (yes, there are some misplays by my friend that are probably also thread-worthy.)

This had me literally on the floor laughing at one point. Most of his tactics looked good though there might be a few that were questionable, such as special mega Manectric. One stupid thing he did was keeping on using stealth rocks on a scarfed Smeargle while I was Ddancing. But the real meat? Not only did he use Darmanitan in OU, but it used Flame Charge of all things! Not only that but it survived my DNite's attack, and activated Zen Mode! At that point I was laughing my head off. I guess flame charge makes Darmanitan-Z faster, but it's still really gimmicky, and there's no conceivable reason to use Darmanitan-Z over the original forme. I accidentally used Ddance and got my Dragonite killed because I was still laughing at that point, and Ddance looked similar to Dragon Claw.

If you look at OU's 0.0 stats for last month, you'll notice that 6.549% of Talonflames ran Flame Body. It basically accounts for everyone who forgets to switch the ability to Gale Wings, or the people who don't really get the whole competitive thing. So yeah that's why sableye's WoW outsped lawl
