I'm getting really annoyed at the lack of variety in teams right now. At least 50% of all teams have Landorus T + scarfed Tapu Lele and its getting pretty boring.

If this continues will action be taken? I think it would be necessary to maintain healthy variety.

In Gen 6 quite literally every single team had one or more of keldeo, ttar, clef, m-scizor, m-sab, latios. Nothing was done then, nothing will be done now most likely

Does anyone know if Charge will double a Z-Moves power like it does other Electric moves?
Zap Cannon+ Z Move = 190 power
+ Charge = 380 power move
I know it'd be stopped incredibly easily by all the Pokémon in SM immune to Electric, but it's only 1 turn of setup for 380.

I'm not sure if this is the right place to ask this, as I seem to remember a thread specifically designed for questions like this but I couldn't find it.

I just hatched a shiny regenarator Mareanie with haze. Max IVs are in the wrong places. I only got 3 of them because it happened early in the chain and missed out on both defenses, but that's what bottlecaps are for, right?

My concern is its relaxed nature. I figure it's not really a problem because toxapex's speed is useless anyway. Am I wrong about this? Will its nature become a problem later?

You won't be able to toxic stall slowbro, it's garbage.

(but really: lower speed is not optimal but probably won't change anything in 99% of games.)

try building counter meta teams. HP Ice Life Orb Terrakion lures and kills Landorus pretty easily, AV Muk-Alola effortlessly switches into and traps Lele with Pursuit.

How good is Guzzlord? Is it an OU-caliber Pokémon? What is the best nature for it? I'm guessing Adamant/Brave but would like a second opinion.

Could some on do me a favour and tell me why ash greninja is so strong right now? I am genuinely surprised that it beats protean greninja (on the viability ranking) even though the latter suffers against some of the other OPs right now.

With some of the mega stones being unreleased does that mean we won't be able to transfer over pokebank? I never tried to trade a mega stone so I'm not sure if they act like key items. Are we going to have to wait for events on the megas?

We have no idea if they're being released. We can see all the megas outside Rayquaza and the primals used on the battle tree, so we've been under the assumption they may just be patched in at a later date. However, this is unconfirmed so we've been treating it as if they won't exist.

Because it has that +10 in Spe, which enables it to outspeed more threats, thus making it harder to be revenge killed.
It also gains 20% in power onto its Water/Dark STABs, even though it loses 8% power on coverage moves. This calcs are made with a Life Orb equipped, plus +50 points into Atk and SpA when it becomes Ash-Greninja.
It is a really good cleaner, even though it requires a kill to be effective (in order to activa Battle Bond).

You're not able to put items in Poké Bank; if you try to put in a Pokémon holding an item, the item will be removed. Maybe (hopefully) this'll be changed in this month's update so we can transfer up Mega Stones, but I'd highly doubt it.

I wanted to post on Golisopod's thread in this forum but it recently got closed. I noticed many other Pokémon threads were closed and I was wondering if it's because they don't go by the subform's rules or if it's because other reasons such as the Pokémon not being considered OU in the metagame.

If I were to re-open the thread by making my own and copying the previous's one OP, should I DM a moderator first? Or should I wait until said threads are open again?

Thanks in advance and sorry if this thread is more game-oriented. I'll be sure to read the rest of the rules.

EDIT : Clarifying

I was also wondering what RedAlteisen posted. Was having some discussions in a couple of those threads and can no longer reply. Is it because tiers are becoming settled, thus no need for "Uncharted Territory" threads? And is there elsewhere we can open up on individual Pokemon?
EDIT: Or, if there are already threads for each individual, links to them? I searched and nothing came up (am on an Ipad and they often don't bring up search results very efficiently for some reason).

I'm not sure what you mean. It's still open, at least for me.

I closed a bunch of them because we were shifting our gameplan for the forum, and decided to wait a bit longer (specifically until the Gene suspect ends). Part of that shifting will be locking the individual threads for non-OU Pokemon. For the time being they will be unlocked.

Thanks Celticpride! Any insight on when you'll take them down again?

Is it worth keeping this Necrozma?

Nature: Bold
30/31/31/31/21/14

I have enough bottle caps to spare. Got it in a Beast Ball.

Not hugely, to be honest, unless you want to use more bottle caps than you should. 3 perfect IVs in relevant stats is kind of the bare minimum for "decent", and since one of your 31s fell in Atk, it doesn't even have that.

I guess if you're committed to using a lot of caps, then all you have to do is get the right nature. But if that was the case, then you wouldn't have asked.

E: forgot Necrozma doesn't get the high beast ball rolls. That changes things a bit I guess. Depends what you're ultimately looking for, I suppose, and how willing you are to keep trying.
