Yeah...but even then G-Zapdos is good in a different way from regular Zapdos. Put some respect on my OG Elec/Fly legend.
What? It has 125 Attack and 100 speed, strong dula stab, defiant, and utility like taunt and uturn. Scarf and Band are amazing shit. Like seriously outside of Zapdos what switches in on GZapdos???
125 attack, 100 speed, and a good offensive movepool is an OU pokemon bud. STAB Brave Bird and Close Combat, as well as Steel and Ground coverage is not even close to bad. That's how I feel right now, anyway. Especially since Defiant is a good ability for a physical oriented mon.
It also has worse coverage than Regieleki.
I'm not one to use profanity, but FUCK! Fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuck... I was going to use a Cosmic Power Recycle Leppa Berry Cresselia for Restricted Sparring ;_;

That is what I liked about the Ultra Beasts, they got creative. With Stakataka knowing Trick Room, Leech Seed Celesteela, etc.
Mono-Ghost STAB coverage is better than Regieleki’s entire movepool lol

Eh I was going to say you don't need coverage when you hit everything neutral but I forgot Tyranitar and Mandibuzz exist and Ghost Horse has literally nothing for them lol.

The Calyrex rider forms seems to fix a lot of the Horses problems, which is great.
Ice Rider gets Leech Seed, Life Dew, and Trick Room, to provide it with longevity as well as to take advantage of its low speed
Shadow Rider gets Psychic/Psyshock, Giga Drain, Draining Kiss, Tri Attack, Leaf Storm and Pollen Puff to increase its shallow movepool
