Static makes wild Electric types more common. Magnet Pull does the same for Steel types. I have heard there are others that do the same, like Swarm (bug) and Storm Drain (water). Is this true? If so, what other abilities with this affect exist?

I tried Swarm and found that I did encounter many more Scythers and Venomoths than usual.

I have also heard that Rivalry makes Pokemon of the opposite/same gender more common. Which is true?
Other than the ones, except rivalry, that you mentioned. There's a bunch of global effects. The one similar to rivalry would be cute charm though.
Arena trap - More wild encounters
Compoundeyes - +chance of items being held
Cute Charm - 66.6% chance of opposite gender
Hustle - 50% chance of higher level encounter
Illuminate - Same as Arena trap
Intimidate - less chance of lower level encounters
Keen Eye - Same as Intimidate
No Guard - Lower encounter rate
Pressure - Same as Hustle
Quick Feet - Same as No guard
Sand Veil - Decrease encounter rate in a sandstorm
Snow Cloak - Decrease encounter rate in a blizzard
Sticky Hold - increased bites in fishing
Suction Cup - Same as Sticky Hold
Synchronize - 50% chance of same nature encounters
Vital Spirit - Same as Hustle
White Smoke - Same as No Guard

1. Is Technician applied to each hit with Triple Kick, and what's the max base power if it does?

2. Do all PBR Surfing Pikachus have the same IVs?

3. Does Acupressure violate Evasion Clause?

Where do pre-evolutions in the Smogon teir list stand if they are not listed?

Things like Yanma, are they OU with Yanmega or automatically UU?

1. yes, 135 (counting STAB and technician obviously)
2. Pretty sure they don't.
3. No, because you can't control it.

General consensus so far is that they're in the same tier as their higher evolution. Discussion thread here

So, question

1.when i request a stand battle --> it mean item clause, sleep clause and no ubers?

2. in item clause's all pokemon items must be different?
-- someone told me leftovers is 2 in item clause's
-- if anyone can show me link to a thread for rule's for this forum battling it be real great !

Can someone help me understand how to nickname pokemon using AR and pokesav? I heard it doesn't make a pokemon look hacked, so i'd like to nickname some pokemon I normally wouldn't be able to nickname. Thanks.

I believe that it's not the pokemon that you have to change but your trainer ID so that it matches the pokemon. That can be done using pokesav and I suppose since you aren't modifying the pokemon then you wouldn't be affecting the legitimacy.
The only thing is that most people object that you nickname pokemons that are not yours like giveaway ones.

If what I've heard is correct, it works like this:

0 stages: 1/16 chance to crit
1 stage: 1/8 chance to crit
2 stages: 1/4 chance to crit
3 stages: 1/3 chance to crit
4 stages: 1/2 chance to crit

• Attacks with high crit ratings start at one stage; others start at zero.
• Focus Energy/Lansat Berry gives two stages (same effect, so they don't stack).
• Scope Lens and Razor Claw give one stage.
• Super Luck gives one stage.
• Lucky Punch on a Chansey and Stick on a Farfetch'd each give two stages, but I'm not sure they've been tested in D/P.

Hope that helps.

what defines a redistrubutional??
i know something that others can trade aswel but is it just a choice or are there rules for it

Could someone with AR please find out for me:

When does a Custap Berry get eaten? Is it right when the holder gets down to 1/4 HP, or is it right before the user uses its next attack, like a Quick Claw? If someone does test this, please make sure the Custap Berry Pokémon is slower than its opponent and turn on battle animations so that it will show when the Berry is consumed.

What's the right nature and moveset for a Buneary and a Beautifly in Contests? I want to help my friend so I'd like to know. Thanks.

Sounds about right, but can someone confirm this?

I'm actually working on an Excel-based damage calculator (part of a set of utilities, actually) which will include probabilities of OHKO/2HKO/etc. The critical hit percentages will factor into the chance, of course, so I'd like to make sure they're right.

on the turn roost is used, the pokemon looses its flying type. check out the list, it's always a flying pokemon with roost. so for example, if i was facing a skarm with my tyranitar my focus punch would usually hit it at neutral damage. however, if it uses roost first, it loses its flying type for one turn and only has steel left. therefore, my focus punch hits super effective as fighting > steel. however, this only happens if the 'rooster' roosts before you hit it. so if i used mach punch on it, skarm will take neutral damage.

my own question now. why is tyraniboah 'boah'? what does that name mean?
Except for some pokes, like scizor. When a scizor uses roost, it gains HP like normal, but no type is removed, because siczor is not a flying type
