I'm open to learn both, I've got free time. The only reason I want to do either is because I have a list of things for each (like the Jirachi event for wondercard or rnging ho oh, mewtwo, groudon, etc).

But would that still make the pokemon legal? A friend of mine is using pokesav for his trainer ID/SID in order to get the shiny spreads he need. I don't even know if the pokemon he catches are still legal. O_O
