  • Actually, that's really good thinking. Just yesterday I started experimenting in practice battles using a triple-Dragon startegy (Bagon, Dratini, Kibago). It really raped, but it limits teambuilding for your other 3 members so that you basically have to use two Steels.

    Anyway, if we're doing a Scarfed Dragon, I think that Kibago should actually be the Scarfer. Since the Scarfer cannot boost, it needs naturally high stats. Kibago is faster and has higher Attack than Dratini, so I think it would be the natural Scarf-user. Besides, with Rivalry boosting its power even more, it would be able to revenge things at higher health. I'd like to hear your thoughts on it, though.

    In addition, Dratini has Shed Skin which is way better for helping it set up. Also, Extremespeed would be wasted on a Scarfed pokemon.

    Does that all sound good?
    someone else asked me to take it over awhile back and i said yes. i'm cool with it but you should ask him.
    There are a few reasons.
    1) Physically bulkier
    2) Faster (15 speed compared to 14)
    3) Higher Attack (19 attack compared to 17)
    4) Rivalry (because all pokemon are male anyway)

    In addition, it can use Dragon Claw if being locked into Outrage isn't wanted.

    Also, Fire Blast doesn't OHKO an Evo Stone Tesshiido, which means that he could still Thunder Wave or Leech Seed/Protect us and cripple Dratini.

    On the other hand, Dratini has Shed Skin and Extremespeed. I guess that it kind of evens out, so I'll let it be your call.

    I've been experimenting with the Dragon Dance set, and it has absolutely 0 switch-ins. Max/Max Impish Evo Stone Gligar always gets 2HKOed by +1 Outrage. Same with Max/Max Impish Evo Stone Hippopotas.

    In addition, it reaches the magic 14 Speed with an Adamant nature, meaning that it really only needs 1 DD to sweep.

    yeah i'm in southern MD, so pretty much the same deal. we have these big pine trees in our front yard, and they can't support any weight at all, so half the branches have fallen off into our yard >.> though yeah last year...now that was bad
