I think that was for a shiny though. Since I'm going to limit my shiny pokes to breeding, it might not be so bad. I hope.

I'd like to breed in third gen. I'm still a bit intimidated by it though. I've come to rely on the DS clock, but there isn't one for 3rd gen.
Hi. You might want to visit Eppie's thread. He has the shiny careful version you're looking for. I got a bunch of awesome 3rd Gen pokes from him doing BPs. One of these days, I learn to RNG on Emerald too, for breeding at least. But until then, I'm happy with Eppie's Snorlaxes.
