  • I think it was for the REALLY old events...I'm pretty sure the DS ones can never be shiny, unless they're supposed to.

    Also, TWO WEEKS?? HOLY SHIT. That is a LONG TIME. And yes, I think that pretty much covers it - I've never played Emerald so I don't know what's available legendary-wise, but if you can't get Mewtwo or the birds that covers it, I reckon :)
    Yes, but I remember reading somewhere that for old events they made it so that if the PID/ID combo came up shiny they recalculated the PID? Or something? I could be wrong...but yeah, that's prolly only for events anyway, so the disc is prolly the normal rate. You could always ask someone more knowledgeable than me though ;)

    Also, omg. I will be sooooooooooo jealous of your Mew when you have it! SO. JEALOUS.

    Yeah this is the problem...when there's even the TINIEST chance it could exist you WANT it to exist so badly that you believe that of the millions of hacks around ONE COULD BE THE ONE and waste the rest of your life looking for it...lol. I actually know someone who claims he has a legit one ('checked by someone from Nintendo', lol) but I remain skeptical.
