Yes, there is Australian football. And we don't wear any pads, plays go on longer than 10 seconds and we don't go straight up and down. Plus, almost every Australian footballer kicks further than an American footballer.
I don't really think about the topic of ethics/morals enough to have a very complex viewpoint on it. I think they're "useful" and "important," and I think people who believe otherwise (if they exist-- I have no idea, considering that I seriously have just avoided this sort of discussion altogether in the past) are silly. I can see where certain systems of ethics/morals can be flawed or harmful to a society, but then it's just a matter of fixing those imperfections as we find them.
Kind of a vague viewpoint, but that's all I really have.
