How late into the game do I have to get into in order to be able trade over WiFI?

Like the ROM I'm using. I use sweet scent at -2 and I hit the correct frame, but I have nearly no clue to as what the encounter slots are... From what I gather, if I switched seeds the encounter slots would change, but I don't see what determines that change.
I still don't quite get how to determine what Poke you will encounter in the BBC

That's good news. OD said something about on a real cart and ID/SID abusing for frame X will get you the right PID. I hope we can soon RNG abuse for that.

How do I map them out? just test random natures with the ESV number? I only did this for Kojondo (the pre-evolution) and Kibago. (But barley)
Btw have you had luck having a shiny PID that let's you use any synch? Thus having any nature? I haven't... only for legends.

One more thing, though. With CPs, are there still shiny spreads, and abusing your ID/SID, and all of that? Like, would I have to abuse my SID to get good shiny spreads?
