really? we scraped a win by playing ugly football against a team that either dont give a fig about friendlies/are awful at friendlies. iirc there previous results were a 4-0 loss to Portugal, a draw with Costa Rica, and defeat in Italy.

i think our best players were in action. the only change i'd have made was Rooney in place of Welbeck, Cole in place of Baines and anything with a pulse in place of Barry (not Lampard though, his incompatibility with Gerrard is not a myth).
