Nah I was proud after the Spain game as well, but that doesn't take anything away from what I thought was a fantastic performance!

really? we scraped a win by playing ugly football against a team that either dont give a fig about friendlies/are awful at friendlies. iirc there previous results were a 4-0 loss to Portugal, a draw with Costa Rica, and defeat in Italy.

but we should really be seeing our best players in action.

i think our best players were in action. the only change i'd have made was Rooney in place of Welbeck, Cole in place of Baines and anything with a pulse in place of Barry (not Lampard though, his incompatibility with Gerrard is not a myth).

Well considering that England are usually a team who can't defend at all I was really pleased with the solid defensive performance and when it comes to teams that I actually care about the results for the style of football is unimportant to me.

Goals in double figures for nine consecutive seasons..........top scoring midfielder so far this year(take that Giggs and more importantly,Gerrard!) along with four assists-He truly is Super Frank.Villas-Boas better play him every game if he wants to keep his job.

fucking disgusting how liverpool aren't 4-0 up already

funny how they say arsenal dominate possession and they can't do shite while playing against a makeshift 2 in midfield

RV-flipping-P. Comes us trumps every time for Arsenal.

EDIT: Owen Coyle's trying out a new formation for us today; 4-1-4-1, in some desperate attempt to turn our season around (at a club who've won every single home league game this season...)

Liverpool surprisingly dominated us in every part of the pitch and cut us open so many times... but... we still won! I've been waiting a long time for this and it feels sooo good. The amount of times I've seen Arsenal dominate possession but end up losing, today is like Christmas and your birthday all in one! And...

ALEX DMITRI SONG BILLONG!!! LIKE A BOSS!!!

A 2-0 loss, to one of the top 2 teams in this league isn't that bad. It was to be expected. (AVB gonna be sacked soon too probs).

Anyways, this is where the fight really starts. Bolton are doing a special offer. You can go to both the home games against QPR and Blackburn for the price of 1! I'll be at both of them. QPR, 12:45pm, next Saturday, then the cup QF game at either Spurs/Stevenage. Then at Villa in midweek, followed by Blackburn on the 24th at 3:00pm.

Cool that sounds like a great deal. Win or lose it would be an excuse for a day out at least and Bolton seem to be playing better recently so you can definitely be optimistic! I'm getting Miyaichi in for my fantasy team btw cos he is such a beast. Gonna get so many goals between now and the end of the season (hopefully).

man of the match has to be the linesman
Beautiful win from us today. Let's be honest, Arsenal have had so many matches where we completely dominated but dropped points, feels nice with the shoe on the other foot. Did your shit play vs Cardiff teach you nothing? /10pts
