5th Gen PRNG Help / Info - Latest: RNG Reporter 9.96.5, PPRNG 1.15.0

aww man, got a tricky frame then >_>. So I really need to do the 11 frames then.

Unfortunately. It wouldn't be too bad if you had access to a PC there. I believe withdrawing is +7, then 128 steps would be +4. That means it's not totally useless for other things.

o_O

No.

You still hit the seed and advance the frame. Catching the wild pokemon was only to get yourself calibrated. That's why it was mentioned, you need a way to know you're still hitting what you're supposed to. You don't do both.

To the second problem, only 3 IVs are taken from the IVRNG, so you're not going to find a match. The other 3 come from the parents.

(I've saved next to the Daycare man)
Ok, so, hit seed and delay. Advance frame, collect egg.
Then can I catch the egg and hatch it?

Once you collect the egg that is it. The egg's IVs and PID are set at that point. You would then hatch it at the desired location you want and see if you got the right Pokemon.

That is why we were telling you to calibrate by catching a Pokemon first. Because, if you do it via eggs, you will be at it for a LONG time. So, calibrate first then start working on the eggs.

Thanks again ToastPlusOne, I'll just carry 1 strong synch pokemon and then advance from there with 11x 128=1408 steps. 7 used super repels= 1400 steps, then finish off the rest.

Ok, I've hit the target and the delay.
When I first typed in the IVs I wanted on the RNG reporter, the result that I chose yo generate more results from and get my delay and time form had 17 in the frame column.
However, I just read that I have advance my initial frame to the frame before my target frame.
It says my initial frame is 3, so I assume I have to advance it to frame number 16, so that's 13 frame advances?
I then read that my start frame for eggs is 8, so which do I advance to 17-1=16?
Do I start at 1 and advance the frames 13 times, or do I start at 8, and advance the frames by 8?

For C-Gear abuse, it would be 17-8-3+1=7 advancements.

Or, to put it another way: C-Gear seeds start on Frame 3. Picking up your egg advances your frame by 7, landing you on 10. Since you need to advance to be on your target frame this gen, that leaves 7 more advancements to reach 17.

Great! So I only have to withdraw 1 pokemon and pick up my egg?

Then, do I save then hatch the egg, or just go and hatch it.
1 Min, I don't need to save do I as the eggs IVs are determined when I have picked it up?
Is that right?

When RNG reporter 9.3 comes out, should I be able to control PIDRNG (so I can more easily catch Tornadus?)

And when is Tornadus created?

The trio(Musketeer trio) is the hardest to RNG abuse? O.o

IMO, the roamers are the most difficult, by far.

Yes, the nature/ability/shininess/IVs are determined when you pick it up.

Who can tell me what I'm doing wrong?

I'm calibrating with my AR now, and for some reason I can't hit ANY delay >_> My wanted delay is 7401, and I'm searching within a range of -7401/+9999 and with a second range of 0. A few hours ago, I got calibrated to a delay at +1, so I kept the values in my timer. After that, I thought well I'll just try again, and from that moment, I can't hit any delay. What am I doing wrong?

What should I have EonTimer calibrated for if I'm on a DSi?
It will vary slightly between systems and users (for example, I think someone said it should be around -45 for DS Lite, but it's -51 for me). Just start with the default and keep calibrating until you're consistently hitting the same number.

Did you advance the frame?

Thanks for the clarification about the IVs and nature :).
But, are you sure about the frame ? I mean, we have to add the C gear frame to the Initial one, or something like that, so isn't the minimum frame we can reach is 4, or maybe 5 ?

Would like clarification on this please ^^

No, I'm still calibrating. When the second timer runs out, I turn on the C-Gear, hit the touchscreen again and then I talk to Virizion.

Buckert is going through what i went through last night. I would hit my delays just calibrating with the AR but after i adjust the timer and when i actually try to go ahead to catch the legendary (advancing the frames, getting the right delay, etc) i always get "No Match was found for your IVs"

EDIT: I can't get to the point where i need to click "Yes" on the C-gear before time runs out on the timer. The Winter message displays takes forever to appear and disappear. I'm not given enough time to get into the game after the first timer. What should i do?

You need a higher delay. 1500 or so is the minimum.

This is different. I haven't made any advancements.
