Advanced Tiers Revisited revisited

Blaziken, exegutor, charizard, gardrivor, and rhydon need to be bl. Their hardly ever used anymore. If the transform glitch isnt fixed, then ditto might need to become uu.

agreed - although i see a lot of noobs using blaziken (lol), and some people use Rhydon as their physical wall and phazer of sorts.

Umm...I'm not sure why something like butterfree is UU while something that can actually do something and is actually used, like raticate is NU. I just find that to be weird.

>_> Just how useful is a list like this, anyway? I don't really see the point in telling people what's been used lately, especially considering that it can change rather quickly....

its so people can build teams for different play levels-for an uu tournament i would build an uu team.

yanma is the raticate of uu while araidos venomoth and the other bugs are the nu of butterfree

As stated before, its to help newbies know which pokemon are the most common.

I think Shuckle should be NU. Noone uses him anymore. There was a period of time when he was used loads (after Emerald, probably cos loads of people struggled against Lucy's Shuckle and she was the only brain that those type of people could get to since it was all based upon luck), but hes neverused again.

No. That's absolute nonsense. Nobody bases NetBattle teams on their struggling against in-game opponents.

The tiers have been updated, but I feel the need to type a post that no one will bother reading:

To BL:
-Blaziken: It has a lot of counters, is fragile, and is hardly used. It can mess up standards, but so can other UU/BL Pokemon.
-Breloom
-Charizard
-Ludicolo: Nice anti-standard, but hardly anyone uses it.
-Ninjask: Only used on Baton Pass teams, which aren't common anyway.
-Regirock
-Scizor: NO idea why this is standard. I've only seen newbies use this, and they never use it with any sort of support.

To UU:
-Hariyama: Would it make much of an impact?

To NU:
-Hitmonchan: Inferior to the other Hitmons, isn't used.
-Shuckle: Complete crap in UU, bump it down.

Ninjask is still Over Used... Well it is. And it's not used in Baton Pass teams, specifically. it is used in teams that require speed passing, which are a bit common.

Doesn't matter, BL is banned in OU. Its essentially a BL pokemon with only one purpose, good move.

He is like Houndoom/Alakazam/Smeargle, can fuck you team up without notice. They are just too fragile, I would have to say good move.
-Breloom
I don't like this move, Breloom is definately OU tier on power and spore.
-Charizard
One of those oppertunity pokemons, good move.
-Ludicolo: Nice anti-standard, but hardly anyone uses it.
Better alternatives out there, nice move.
-Ninjask: Only used on Baton Pass teams, which aren't common anyway.
Stated above.
-Regirock
Agree on the move
-Scizor: NO idea why this is standard. I've only seen newbies use this, and they never use it with any sort of support.
Scizor is pretty good imo, BL suits him. He can CB with that 130 monster ATK stat or pass some SD.

To UU:
-Hariyama: Would it make much of an impact?
WTF, the new beast in UU. This thing would be really good for UU

To NU:
-Hitmonchan: Inferior to the other Hitmons, isn't used.
Too powerful for NU imo.
-Shuckle: Complete crap in UU, bump it down.
NU pokemon will have fun taking this down....meh.

Agreeing, and the only reason because pokemons like Entei aren't "UU" is because they're too unstable, they'd own too much, so they are promoted to "BL", even though they are barely used at all, this is one of those power situations.

Going back through the list, I don't understand how Tauros and Alakazam, especially Tauros, are BL but Scizor is OU. Even if this is based on usage like you say, I have never seen Scizor in a serious tournament, and not so much on "fun" teams either. Tauros should definitely be OU. Alakazam is kinda iffy I guess, but Zam and Kadabra in the same tier seems kinda weird to me...

If this is supposed to be about the Power I agree 100% with Bugsy, a Choice Band Frustration Tauros can damage things hardly, plus the speed. Alakazam has an awesome Special Attack too. I once thought Scizor's defenses were outstanding but I guess they're just plain regular, I guess the only usage for it is because of the movepool, ie: Swords Dance, Agility, Iron Defense, Baton Pass which actually makes a Moveset, unless you want to take one of those moves for an attacking one.
