I've been constantly reading about a "Ditto breeding Glitch" that allows Ditto to get any combination of moves and therefore breed on any (possibly illegal) combination of egg moves.
Also I've heard that this only works in the Jap D/P.

How do you do this glitch?

Following matchup.

Rain is in effect. You have Castform on your side. Your opponent switches in Rayquaaza or Golduck.

Does Castform lose its form too ? And Weather Ball, it gets a Normal-type move again ?

I need a pokemon that can counter Gliscor, Curselax (Assuming I switch in on the curse) and counter/revenge kill Weavile. Any suggestions?

I have two questions.

1) I have taken some time off from smogon and now when I have come back, I have noticed that some people trade threads mention that they have used vitamins code in ev training. Could someone tell and explain me what it is and how I perform it? Does it effect on pokemons legitimacy?

2) I'm not sure does this belong here but anyway. In Ruby and Sapphire when is roaming Latios/Latias ivs determinated? Can I catch lati, check its ivs and if I dont like them reset my gameboy and catch it and it has new ivs?

The thing is, Skarmory can't really do too much Besides whirlwinding Snorlax, which is to be honest my main concern right now.

Maybe rest-talking machamp with dynamic punch-ice punch, but you can't really switch into earthquakes...

@Red_Koala. I'm quite sure you can't soft-reset lati@s in R\S, I think their iv's are determined at the beginning of the game.. You'll need the eon ticket to soft-reset em.

1) It's pretty much a code that changes how many EVs the vitamins (Proteins, HP Ups etc) give. AFAIK, it doesn't affect the legitimacy of pokemon, but many people won't trade/battle against pokes trained in such way.

2) I believe it's either beggining on the game or when you watch the report about red/blue coloured pokemon. I'm not really sure, though :/

It could be several things. One, it could be that you inputted the Instant Egg code incorrectly into the AR, resulting in that abnormality when you use it.

Two, it could just be a coincidence. (Really bad coincidence. :P) How many times have you tried this?

Three, you could always try, y'know, not using the code.

It's definitely not coincidence. 20ish Naughties in a row without ever failing to be a different nature. Ah well; I have quick egg now, which is safer to use anyway, so I really don't need an answer any longer. Thanks anyway.

Thanks for answering Haunterfan and Mastadi. It looks like I have to do my ev trainings old fashioned way, and I might try that lati soft resetting. If ivs are determineted after watching that tv show it could work.

DON'T SR ruby/Saphire lati @s!! their last four IVs are glitched to be 0

Wandering Lati_s only. Southern Island Lati_s are not glitched.

Could someone kindly list everything worth SRing in Pokemon Colloseum/XD? Also, are there any tutors/special moves in Colloseum?

Entei/Suicune/Raikou only in Colosseum
Heal Bell Dragonite, Heal Bell Articuno, Baton Pass Zapdos, Tri Attack Togetic, and probably a couple more in XD

Only notable tutor move I recall from XD is Self Destruct (Snorlax, Wailord, Mewtwo, etc). No tutor moves in Colosseum.

-------

Can somebody list the pros and cons of using a -Def nature vs a -Spec Def nature on Mixmence? The analysis lists Mild for one set and Rash for the other mixed set. As far as I can tell, they don't play that differently from one another... Is it purely a preference thing?

Just so I have a full list to go on, is there anything that Little Green Yoda didn't mention in XD or Colloseum that's worth getting?

How do I overcome a breloom?

My team
Bronzong
Flygon
Kingdra
Magnezone
Blissey
Gengar

In my team, Flygon has firepunch, Blissey has flamethrower, and Magnezone has HP-Fire, Gengar also has HP Ice.

I can never seem to be able to defeat it simply because Bliss and Magnezone are weak to fighting, and it sleeps anything I send out before subbing and focuspunching the following turn

Assuming they would do something like that, let them sleep Magnezone, switch to Gengar, and proceed to spam Shadow Ball. The reason I said Magnezone instead of Blissey is to abuse Sleep Clause.

Don't switch Gar in imediately, but something else on the turn it spores.
Gar is immune to f-punch and mach punch, while resisting seed bomb. This is assuming it doesn't know any moves to hit gengar with; I've honestly personally not ever used it, so I don't know how effective it would be at chasing a breloom away without taking serious dents.

I would do this:

Let whatever Breloom switches in on (probably Blissey) take the Spore. Then switch to flygon as it subs. Then U Turn to Gengar, making Focus Punch miss. Then use Gengar to kick its ass.

How does a Choice Scarf effect pokemon in Trick Room? Does it speed them up or slow them down (Choice Band and Choice Specs multiply Base Power, not attack as far as I know, what does Choice Scarf alter?) <--This is wrong, see Veed's post below, thanks Veed again!

Veedrock - Thank You very much!

Choice Scarf multiplies your speed by 1.5, so it'll most likely make you go last in a Trick Room environment.

EDIT: You're wrong about the Band and Specs; they affect the actual stats, not the power of the moves.

Except that Blissey will no longer be asleep, and Breloom will probably use spore again.

I'm arranging a team for PBR. Even though I heard it was bad I still intrigues me for what ever reason. Anyways, If anyone has experience with it I'd like to know what to expect on wifi battles or w/e they may be.

As of now the person who is helping me get these Pokemon is being stingy and allowing me 3 Competitive Pokemon. Meaning good IV's, Ev's, and what not... so this is what I'm planning on requesting.

Heatran@ Life Orb (set)

Ludicolo@ Life Orb (set)

Lucario@ Reversal (set)

I get shivers down my spine just thinking about them. Let me know if these 3 alone will be enough or if I should wait till i can get allll 6.

Is it possible to Sketch Memento?

I've googled, but people seem to say that it's impossible.

Sketch: Permanently copies the last move used by the target. Chatter and Struggle cannot be Sketched. (copy-pasted from the analysis)
Seems that you can sketch memento.
