Does Changing the trainer name and id effect my pokemon in any way?
example: I breed something will it be hacked because i changed my name and id

i am asking this because i recently changed the name in my spare diamond to the same as my current daimond so i can Nickname all pokemon i breed from there.

Well, you used an external device, so that constitutes as hacking in any case. Whether it'll negatively affect your pokemon is unknown.

Im pretty sure it doesnt affect the pokemon you breed, the user Commentor user simular codes and didnt affect anything in any way.

Hey, still kinda newish to Smogon, so I'm not sure where to put this.

Naïve #482 Azelf: 27 / 14 / 10 / 29 / 4 - 5 / 30

This is good? Or should I shoot for 31 SpA?

I think the "look at my pokémon" thread is good for that.

I have another question. If, in battle, you use transform with your Ditto, can you check your opponent's Pokémon's stats in the Ditto's summary screen? Apart from HP, that is.

I think Ditto keeps its own base stats when it transforms, so the answer would be no.

I'm breeding a breloom, with a male breloom with seed bomb and spore. I thought spore would pass since shroomish learns it, but its not. Is there a reason for this?

If it's an egg move only the male needs to know it. If it is a level up move, both parents have to know it.

Spore is a level up move for Shroomish, so both parents need to have it to get level 1 Shroomish with Spore.

If I EV train a pokemon and get an effort ribbon, can I use EV reducing berries and re-train it later as long as it's still under level 100? I'm pretty sure I can, but I just want to make sure.

I'm also guessing that the ribbon stays there, and there's no way to talk to the lady again for re-confirmation that it has 510 EVs again right?

Yes to both, Geddy

but you can check whether they're at 510 EVs later by trying to use a vitamin in a stat not being trained. If it doesn't have an effect, the EVs are full.

EDIT;; As for my question, what should a scarfed Shaymin aim to beat? I use a Modest one on Shoddy to great success, but the one I have in-game is Naive, so I have no idea how much speed to invest. This is for BL (god, I hate the term 'nUU'), not for OU. Help?

Hmm... Should I go for Timid or Modest on a Magnezone:
Magnet Rise
Subs
HP Grass
Thunderbolt

Is it worth it to go max speed +Speed nature to get past more stuff, or Modest for the power?

With Max Speed, Timid and HP Grass you reach 240 Spd, which is enough to outrun Max Speed Adamant Metagross. Since Metagross rarely ever run any speed it would probably be advisable to run just enough speed to outrun the same Metagross without any speed EVs, maximise sp. atk and dump the rest in HP to build up some bulk (I assume you're not using Choice Scarf, because of MR and Subs).

So timid with enough EVs to get over 177 (Adamant gross, 4 speed EVs)?

correct on all accounts.

i usually save right in front of the ribbon lady, and then SR when i know what's up.

having the ribbon isn't that important to me, but being able to check the 510 is very handy.

The ribbon club that's at the Resort Area, how many or what kind of ribbons do you need to get in?

Like Lightsabre said, you need eight ribbons to get in, but it's not really worth it. All you can do is get an opportunity to buy some worthless Ribbons at outrageous prices, and there's a massage service for one of your pokemon per day.

Alright, I'll probably do it eventually merely for the massage service at some point. Thanks you two for the info.

Suicune is fast asleep!
Suicune used Sleep Talk.
Suicune used Surf.
It's not very effective...
Milotic lost 32% of its health.
Milotic used Mirror Coat.
Suicune lost 100% of its health.
Fatality's Suicune fainted.
Milotic's leftovers restored its health a little!
Milotic restored 6% of its health.
---
Suicune had 100% HP, or, 404 HP, I don't see how this is possible.
