Ask a simple question, get a simple answer - mark 24 (READ THE OP)

Which two interchangeable moves did Salamence have that made it Uber? I'm sure it was Uber for that reason, but I don't find it anywhere.

The fact that made it uber was having tow great sets: MixMence and DDMence. Each of these had different checks and neither had a sure counter outside of Cresselia.

The fact it could either open huge holes on the opponent's team with the former or sweeping late game with the latter made it too overcentralizing.

Why isn't there an Agility set for Arcanine?
something like:
Adamant w/ Leftovers or LO
200hp 252attack 56speed
Flare Blitz
Agility
Iron Head
Extremespeed/Return/Morning Sun/Will-o-wisp

Outspeeds Jolly Primeape w/ Scarf and can try burn it with WoW or attack it head on with Flare Blitz
Iron Head is there purely for flinch

I don't see why this guy didn't just post his question here... Anyways, here's another one for ya!

When I see people do the online Wifi battles and such, I never see anyone using type attack boosting items.
ex: Charcoal to boost fire type attacks.
Is this because it doesn't work online? Or because it is considered a newbie move/poor etiquette?

I know everyone thinks of this idea at one point: Charizard + Charcoal + Flame Thrower = one shot fire death.

You could replace the fire type or fire move, however you like. This whole idea seems pretty juvenile, a kind of "pile it on" strategy that cheapens the whole complexity of the game. If someone could clear this all up for me, I'd be pretty appreciative! Thanks!

Items like Charcoal and Nevermeltice are outclassed by Life Orb (which boosts all attack moves) and Expert Belt (which boost SE attack moves).
Why would you want to boost the power of just Fire type attacks when you can increase the damage output for all your attack moves?

Doubles usually allow wobbu and wynaut, as well as garchomp and salamence. At least thats the ban list on the PO ladder
