Ask a simple question, get a simple answer - mark 24 (READ THE OP)

Is there a good reason for not using Brine on Modest, LO Kingdra? I don't even see it as a suggested option, though it would make an excellent revenge killing move, and not waste valuable PP from moves like draco meteor and hydro pump.

130 attack with 100% accuracy is nothing to sneeze at, even if the enemy must be under 1/2 health for it to be effective. Am I over-thinking this, or does the simple fact that it's underpowered facing fresh opponents make this move undesirable?

Reliability is the most thing,like you said is weak against good health pokes and nothing stops your opponents to switch out wasting turns (of rain probably) and stalling your LO. The other moves are a lot more reliable.
Finally, based on his stats kingdra looks more suitable to enter in battle and try sweeping not keep coming over like a revenger.

Well, wifii battling is competitive battling, and competitive battling requires...
IVs
EVs
Held Item(which you put.)
Nature (which you put.)
and what they do as an organized team.
The location doesnnt matter
 
Just something I've always wondered but never executed, so I'll ask you guys 'n' girls here.

Does Arena Trap override Run Away?
Or does it depend on who came into battle first?
 
Which of these is more useable in the 4th gen OU environment (I haven't contemplated 5th, because I don't have Black or White yet)?
A) Rotom-C with Leaf Storm and HP Fire (can rotom one shot Scizor with HP Fire? What about other steel?)
B) Rotom-H with Overheat and HP Grass

My thinking is that I come across more things weak to fire than grass (that elec can't handle), so I don't want to continuously drop my special attack through overheat.

My other predicament is using thunderbolt and thunder wave instead of discharge and shadow ball. I like having more power and for sure being able to spread paralysis, plus I haven't thought I needed shadow ball in OU.
 
Does anyone here has some pokemon he wiches to trade? i'm looking the most for a growlithe, put some starters or others are always welcome...
 
If u convert a .PKM to your team by pokesav,Will that ruin the pokemon(aka make it hacked)
Edit: I'm sorry if what im discussing is against the rules its just that hyper gts is failing me.
 
It will be hacked, but it will be a 'legal hack'. This means it will not be detected by hack checks, and most people wouldn't mind.

It depends on the Scizor, but Life Orb options beat Max HP Scizor and Leftovers options beat Max HP Scizor around half the time.

It depends who you ask. Some people are purists and would say it is hacked, other would not. If you are trading then you would just have to say what you did and no one would really mind if you are battling. The VGC hack checks would probably not notice.

Sorry, quick question. I'm doing some prep-breeding for Black/White, on Platinum (wish I didn't misplace my HG). I have ALL the Power Equipment, and would like to know (compaired to the, what, 50% chance of Nature with Everstone), what is the likelyhood of passing down stats with Power Items? I know for a FACT it's not 100%, as I have left my 31 Speed horsea in the daycare with the power anklet, and gotten babies who only have 31 Special Def (a stat that the other pokemon did have, but, to compair, it also has 31 Attack and the Power Bracer or whatever, and didn't pass that down either).
Getting the right Nature AND Ability is tough enough, why can't stat-breeding be easier? Am I doing something wrong?
 
You can only guarantee one IV is passed down through the use of power items. This is why people generally have one power item being held and then the mother holding an everstone. If you are looking for great results, it might be worth learning to RNG, which is the process of manipulating the game's Random Number Generator to get perfect Pokemon. Smogon has some good guides, which can be found here: http://www.smogon.com/ingame/rng/
 
RNG aside(I don't really believe in "perfect" pokemon, otherwise I'd just use P.O.), that still doesn't make too much sense, at least in my case. Again, right now I'm breeding a Horsea with perfect Speed with a Ditto who has Max Sp.Def and Atk; and the items their holding are for speed and attack respectively; yet, the baby(who had the ability/nature I needed) only had max special defense, so it clearly didn't take either parents Power-Item linked stat. The ditto also has a pretty crappy nature, so Everstone won't be of any help until I can at least manage to breed a decent Jolly female Horsea.

Thanks though, I'm just trying to figure out why neither of my power items worked(the specific horsea isn't the only case in which this has been true, ask my lileeps 0.o)
 
If you use two power items, neither is guaranteed. They may be more likely, but I don't think so, and you are still better off with one holding an item and the other holding nothing than both holding power items.
 
Okay, I know this isn't the thread to ask in, but this is where I get good answers. WTF.. I made some shit in the notepad, it's very fucking long and then I saved it and then my PC M*ther F*ck*ng Lagged, I'm gonna throw this shit and my Notepad was like, (Not responding), and WTF. I had no fucking choice but to close it. Is there any other way to recover that shit? God please help me.
