My friend is trying out Regigigas and is trying to Skill Swap stuff. My question is, once Regi gets Skill Swapped, does Slow Start go away instantly, or does it have to switch in and out?

The pokemon using skill swap gets slow start, and the effects of slow start still effect Regigigas. Switching out negates the effects of Skill swap.

What I'm saying is, it doesn't work.

you can't. the best way to avoid this problem is to take out your pokemon whenever they reach a level where they learn a move, level them up, and then put them back in. if this is for breeding, then just take the extra ten minutes every level. it's really not a problem.

question, this may just be me being a noob and missing something but:
Why would you put HP Water/Ice on say, an INfernape? aren't those types some of its main weaknesses, meaning that they won't help that much? shouldn't you get like... HP Electric?

grass knot takes out its water and ground weawkness

Most of which are more powerful that HP Fire with Maximum power. I say most because flame wheel in terms of raw base power is weaker than HP Fire(provided it has maximum power)

@Fland. There is a code called "Pokemon Modifier" If you have diamond or Pearl just search "Pokemon (diamond/pearl) Pokemon Modifier Action Replay" And you should get one.

But there is not way to make Registeel visually there....like Giritinia or Azelf or Uxie.

magmortar - focus blast or focus punch ? i noticed on magmortar strategy pokedex magmortar is recommended with 228ev speed. question does this ev spread clash with focus punch going last and should i therefore put focus blast on magmortar and put ev into hp? ( although focus blast has 70% accuracy)

the reason for focus punch is to hit specially defensive pokemon hard as a mixed sweeper. if you want a fighting move not named focus punch on mixed magmortar, its name is cross chop.
