Do items such as Wide Lens increase the accuracy of a move by 10%, or by 10% of that move's accuracy? For example, would Stone Edge become 90% or 88%?

Does this just mean that you can clone any Pokémon, including those who have a ribbon that normally prevents them from being uploaded to the GTS?

To avoid cloning only claimed pokemon can be exported to .pkm

Does Lagging Tail only affect move priority, or can it affect the order of weather?

Ex: Start of battle. Drought Ninetales holding a lagging tail goes out against a Hippowdon. Whose weather wins?
 
What mon is the best Para-spreader? I am currently using a support Celebi and would like to know if Gyara would make a good partner/core for setting up a sweep.
 
Ok, so T-Wave Celebi and Gyara.....and maybe Para-Flich Jirachi?

I am wanting to set up for either a QDVolcrona or a SDLucario sweep with an E-Belt Latios as a back-up.
 
Hello, I'm having problems connecting to #pokemon through mibbit.
I'm using mibbit since mac doesn't support mIRC. Whenever I search for the channel it doesn't show up. I usually search for #pokemon but I only get the pokemon indigo/ vortex channels. Doesn anyone know a solution? thanks in advance.
 
@Serperior: You can't mention Volcarona on a team without a spinner. Say it has SR, 3 layers of spikes, and 1 layer of Tspikes on the field, in sandstorm or hail, Volcarona has the spectacular amount of 2turns on the field assuming she switched in after a kill. If you switch it in on any move, it will have 1 turn. Really, you'll want a spinner badly. For paralysis support, good ol' Parashuffler Dnite still works wonders as well... And I'm personally very fond of this tangrowth set:

Tangrowth (F) @ Leftovers
Trait: Regenerator
EVs: 252 HP / 120 Def / 4 Spd
Bold Nature (+Def, -Atk)
- Sleep Powder
- Stun Spore
- Hidden Power [Fire]
- Giga Drain

credit goes to Jimera0, as he created the set and made it popular here, with the only twist being that I use it as dual status. Anything physical without Poison Heal as ability will get great headaches from this set, and it spread paralysis like no other. I suggest SpDef Jirachi as teammate for paralysis spreading, as Celebi + Tangrowth gives poor synergy.

Are you sure you're on synirc? Anyway for macs I recommend downloading colloquy :)

I can connect to the #ratemyteam channel so I suppose it's synirc. I'll be sure to try colloquy and tell if it works. Thanks!

Edit: I didn't see the IRC thread so I'll look better before posting here next time.

Why do you actually want Para support for this Pokemon?

All 3 of them are perfectly capable of sweeping without Para support as Volc can boost its speed, Lucario can KO almost everything faster with E-Speed after set-up and Latios is naturally one of the fastest pokemon in OU (and most faster things can't even OHKO it).

However Lucario really apreciates Spikes and SR support as they help getting some notable KOs and as someone said already Volcarona almost needs spinning support and loves having Sun up. Latios needs almost no support, but obviously won't be hold back by any of these things and can use them all to his advantage.


But if you really want a Team around spreading Paralysis Celebie, gyarados and Jirachi sounds like a good core to begin with, as far as sweepers go Nidoking really loves some paralysis support as because he got quite a lot power but is held back by its mediocre speed. Pokemon with Substitute like SubSD Landorus/Terrakion, Gengar andAcroBat Gliscor all like the possibility to get free subs in front of a paralysed foe to make their sweeping easier.


The OU CCAT recently build a team around Nidoking and spreading paralysis so i am sure you can find some addtional ideas here.

who passes the nature of a pokemon holding everstone, male or female? and who passes the egg moves to the younglings, the male or females?
 
Females pass on Natures (With Everstone), Males pass on moves. Also, I think Ditto can pass on Natures too with an Everstone but can't remember which way around it works. I think the Ditto has to be the "female" side.
