I'm guessing 252 HP, 252 Atk, 6HP, because speed is not necessary when you have 3 priority ;P
im guessing u meant 6 SpD since that ev spread would give u 258 HP
hmm if i migrate my tyrogue from sapphire to pokemon pearl and then evolve it in pearl, does that affect the ability chances for technician from 50/50 to 100% intimidate because it came from sapphire. or deos it not matter and i still have a chance to get a technician hitmontop.
It depends on the PID of the Tyrogue. If it has ability 0 (Guts), then it will have Intimidate after migrating and evolving, as that is Hitmontop's ability 0. If it has ability 1 (Guts in 3rd gen, Steadfast in 4th), then it will have Technician after migrating and evolving, as that is Hitmontop's ability 1. Since your Tyrogue must have been bred (that's the only way to get one in 3rd gen), there's no way of knowing its PID without using an external device, so it basically is a 50/50 chance.

Seeing a Choice Scarf Kyogre sometime? Kinda high. Bring a Water resist, it's something you should have on a VGC 2010 team anyway.
The reason I asked that because I want a Lucario lead with a Choice Scarf. Lucario and Kyorge have the same base speed, If i make sure Lucario has 31 IVs in Speed, I'm hoping people don't try hard to get 31 IVs on Kyogre so I can be sure I can outspeed Kyogre with a Choice Scarf as well
Ooh, not a bad idea. I might try that out in the King of the Hill matches at the VGC, before the seniors division starts.
Bring another lead partner with Fake Out, because you should bet on any ScarfOgres maxing speed.
Yeah someone that can Fake Out, faster than Hitmontop at least. I smell some copycats will be at the tournament
Yes and no. Some people seem to think Choice items in the VGC is not a smart move, because of the risk you get locked in a move against something you can't fight. So they might think you're crazy instead.
o no my idea won't be copycat. Zerowings Hitmontop will be I reckon and that can be my downfall
Attack and Defense must be equal when it evolves. So, you need to get a Tyrogue with IVs of 31 or so in Attack and Defense, and don't EV train until after it evolves. If the Defense IV is low enough that they don't match when it evolves, then EV train Defense a little.
Yeah get the IVs the same for Attack and Def. Once the Egg is hatched use the Day care to level up your Tyrouge till at least level 19 then use a Rare Candy to evolve it to Hitmontop. Then you can EV train it once it evolves
I find this spread to work quite good 252 HP/132 Att/124 SpD or you could go 252 HP/252 Att/6 Def
I personally see Lv.50 scarf void smeargles. L1 Smeargles are generally sashed and will use endeavor.
