yea im new to the competitive battleing like ou uu and all that uber stuff i dont really understand wat stab means and things like that can some one explain it to to m or direct me to some where that can
 
If my Rhyperior is Sleeping, and I use Sleep Talk.

Sleep Talk chooses the move Rock Wrecker, will I have to recharge next turn? or will I be able to attack?
 
Hippowdon used Yawn. Snorlax became drowsy.
Snorlax used Substitute.

What would happen on the next turn? I'm assuming Snorlax would fall asleep, but I want to be sure.

STAB is Same Type Attack Bonus. Basically, if a fire type pokemon uses a fire type attack, the attack automatically gets a 1.5x damage boost. Same goes for waters using water attacks, electric using electric, ect.

I'm pretty sure that moves with recharge only take 1 turn while sleeping.

Ubers=Ubers
OU=Over Used
UU=Under Used
NU=Never Used
BL=Borderline

These are the teirs in which pokemon are divided into for competitave battling. Ubers are mainly legendarys, with a few exceptions. However, not all legendarys are in the uber tier. Over Used is the bulk of the metagame, containing the strongest pokemon that aren't considered Uber. BL pokemon are pokemon who aren't quite strong enough to compete consistantly in OU, but are to strong for UU. UU are pokemon who can't compete well in BL, and NU pokemon are generally very weak.

I'm pretty sure it still has to recharge. :/
 
The reason I ask, its becouse I have goten both awnsers, and I dont know wich one to belive, so I need proof, but nobody I know has a Rhyperior INGAME.
 
Dunno if this is simple enough for this thread but:

Where are some good EV training spots in D/P? I've heard there's a couple for each stat for wild pokemon and perhaps a trainer or two in each stat that you can rechallenge via VS Seeker.

hp - valley windworks [shellos/bidoof]
atk - any route with kricketune/bibarel
def - iron island, pretty much everything there gives def
satk - gastly/haunter/gengar in old chateau
sdef - tentacool/cruel/mantyke route before the pokemon league
spd - route 201-202, starly and shinx

Another probably simple question I just remembered :)

Is there some person in D/P that is similar to the lady in Slateport City in R/S/E that gives your pokemon a ribbon for having used all of its 510 EVs?

There of a couple formulas that I found searching the catch rate thread. This one was taken from a Japanese site, and differs from ones created by McGaw and Perterko's, but was endorsed (kind of) by X-Act, who being so gifted at math, I trusted the most. Anyway, the forumula is:

Rate = ((( MaxHP * 3 - CurHP * 2 ) * CatchRate * BallRate ) / ( MaxHP * 3 )) * Status

Ball Rates: Dusk Ball is 4x, Ultra Ball is 2x, for everything else check the thread.

My question is, on Psypoke's pokedex, Belly Drum is listed as one of Salamence's egg moves, but not on Serebii. I haven't gotten to Pal Park things over yet, so which is correct? This may be redundent, because if this WAS found true (probably a long time ago), Jumpman would have included it in his analysis' and listed in the discussion threads, but I'm just checking.

Yes, she's in the last city (Forgot the name, I'm tired) in the building with the Seal vendor.

Also, if you want to EV train against trainers, here's a list I found compiled on GameFAQs:

HP:
Route 209 - Cowgirl (?) - L14, 15, 15, 15, and 16 Bippa (5 HP)
Route 210 - Bird Tamer (lower level) - L38 and 42 Noctowl (4 HP)
Route 212 - Fisherman (lower one) - L17, 17, and 18 Barboach, L20 Karanakushi (4 HP)
Route 213 - Male Tuber (pacing) - L52, 53, and 51 Toritoidon (6 HP)
Route 219 – Female Tuber – L29 and 29 Marill (4 HP)*
*Not recommended because she’s on a very small island with confined movement.

Attack:
Route 203 - Lass (upper area) - L38 Mukkuhawk, L38 Biidaru (5 Attack)
Route 214 - Gambler (? guy flipping coin) - L36 Goldeen, L37 and 38 Seaking (5 Attack)

No, Everstone only works when its on the mother. Ditto always counts as the mother (even if the other pokemon is female, the Everstone needs to be on Ditto).

Are you sure? I've read that Ditto+Male=Dittos nature, Ditto+nongender=Ditto's nature, Ditto+Female=Female's nature.
 
Munchlax is rarely found in the sweet honey trees.
Togepi is found with the pokeradar in the island between the battle area and the resort area.
