Make sure the generation of your team is correct for the tier. Also make sure you aren't using illegal moves and ability combinations. ex: a Gliscor with Poision Heal ability and Roost.
I, for some reason, can't get the servers to appear. I've completely redownloaded PO and even installed just the server package. Further, the team builder part is working fine. Can anyone tell me how to fix this?
Check these things:
1) Is the generation of your team the same as the selected tier? (You can change the generation of your team on the team builder)
2) Do all of your pokemon have moves?
3) Do you have any illegal combination of moves or pokemon?
Those are the most common, if not all, explanation for an invalid team. You probably are not checking all of these things.
@Accipender - check to see if your firewall is blocking PO. That is the most common problem when people post this question on the PO forums.
When I connect to the server PO says I'm connected but nothing appears on the screen. It worked before.
I left it on for 20 minutes and nothing happened.
Thats happened to me before, try uninstalling it then reinstalling it.
If a server is really full that could happen also.
What does laddering actually mean?
It means playing ranked battles to try to get higher ranking on the ladder.
You can do this by selecting the tier you want to play in(based on usually by the team you have selected) and then pressing find battle on the PO server.
