I think after she won't be playable as Zero Suit, maybe she was going to be (because all the first screens we saw and propaganda), but in the process they thought it was cooler to just break her Suit for whatever reason in game.
 
I'm fairly sure they'll include another way to transform. I've been saying this will be one of the ways she'll transform for a long long time now =/
 
I think it's permanent, because i also believe Zero Laser will be one of, if not the, strongest attack in the game. To play Samus is to avoid using that power, and i know i'll loooooove throwing people into smash orbs.
 
if they give ZS Samus a final smash we'll know the answer I think. If not, I'd be willing to bet that she's only accessible with samus' final smash.
 
IIRC, if you hit a certain button as the characters appear before the match, Zelda will transform automatically. They could provide something similar for Samus but Zero Suit Samus could be much weaker.

EDIT: It describes her as weaker but faster, not necessarily worse.
 
don't forget that she will also have throwable objects for a little while like peach turnips.

But i'm i have a feeling that she will only apear after using a final smash. Prolly get the suit back after you lose a stock.
 
Either way you look at it, post-Smash Ball ZSS is a negative. Either you only stay like that for the rest of that stock [what's the point then?] or you cannot transform back into Samus for the rest of the match [uhh wut if we want to stay as Samus...?]. For these reasons, I think that if it's the former, then ZSS will be separately selectable...not to mention the whole "wut if i want to fite as zss but no items???" If it's the latter then...maybe ZSS won't be selectable. D=
 
The Final Smash is a secret skill that can be performed but once…and only after obtaining an item called the Smash Ball, which is a precious item, indeed.

If this implies what I think it does, then I believe ZSS will remain after the Smash Ball is used, even if she is knocked out. Or... am I misunderstanding this and, in truth, you can use Final Smashes once per stock?
 
I have a feeling they wanted to make ZSS a sheik replacement, realized sheik was broken, and to compensate made her only available as a final smash.

I'm still hoping for Ganondorf (only not a falcon clone this time), how can you have Link and Zelda with GDorf? He completes the set!
