For some reason I have a feeling either Link or Luigi will come to save the other or maybe some other random character will come considering Kirby is the one saving one of the princesses in the video. of course thats if Luigi is still in the came which I believe he will be.

There really needs to be more Metroid characters. I can understand not having Petey, what with like 5 or 6 Mario characters, but Ridley would make only the second Metroid series character.
I'll bet this is like in Marvel: Ultimate Alliance where you had to choose either to save Nightcrawler or Jean Gray and the one you don't save dies (and then turns evil after being resurrected, though I doubt both of these would happen here.)

Hmm, well there are some arguments surrounding him, and the music updates make it lean to more of a boss character. One of the playable bosses I could see would be King Dedede, it'd be such a shame for a character such as he to be reduced to a boss only.(Highest number of votes on Sakurai's poll as well)
I wondering if there will be a time limit on the Petey fight due to the subspace bomb being activated. ( Maybe Petey will eat the Princess you don't save lol)

I think King Dedede has big chances to be playable, i think it has the size and everything to be playable, and also become the 3rd of Kirby franchise.
I love Ridley, but i can stand it as a boss, but i will get a bit pissed if Dedede is just a boss fight (or if is left out at all).

ridley is going to be a boss no doubt, but the question is what it'll be based off of. it'll probably be the same style as the metroid prime 3 ridley, just because that's the most recent metroid game and nintendo would want that as a pseudo-marketing ploy. i'd personally like to see a classic ridley, though.

There's a difference between "playable" and "usable". Mewtwo was playable, but you couldn't use him, just cause he was so god awful last game.
Anywho, branching storyline is good, Petey as a boss and not necessarily a playable character is good, non-blond Zelda is not good.
Oh, and Yoshi with SMW abilities is orgasmic, cause I missed the bandwagon on that update.

Apparently Master Hand, Bowser, Ganondorf and what is most likely Ridley appear in the clouds. It smells a little like a silly and delusional coincidence; I think it's unlikely that Sakurai would pull something both that subtle and that revealing (early on) - he seems to prefer direct, controlled updates or nothing at all.
But on the other hand, it seems a rather plausible lineup of villains.
If this is real, since Bowser and Ganondorf are playable, might Ridley be too? Yeah, I know the Master Hand isn't playable. But Ridley has much more in common with the other two villains than with the Hand.

it looks very real with the color. And you can ignore everything after the clouds. And just the clouds being with all of that other junk in a video make me want to think the clouds are fake.

hahaha, I loled at that. That supposedly 'sonic pic' found in that samus image intrigues me though.... I want to believe that sonic is in, but wouldn't they have shown him sooner, with a big entrance like Snake? It's not like Sonic is this unknown character nobody wants in ssbb, there are hordes of fanboys supporting that.
EDIT: that 'SONIC IS IN THE MONITOR' thing is false, I just checked. I feel like a dumbass right now because I actually believed it.
