I loooove double updates. Music one was perhaps my favourite music so far; K.K.'s songs were always what I loved most in Animal Crossing (besides bug catching). They were always best when he sang them himself.

And Yoshi's Final Smash....YES. Just, YES. Best part of Super Mario World was flying around on Yoshi. As a few have said, best Final Smash yet.

And best update since, I'll say, Pokémon Trainer. In fact, I thought PT would replace Yoshi as my favourite character, but this update may indeed put Yoshi back in favour.
 
Just wondering if anyone else finds it kind of strange that the only final smashes so far that you control the the character's attack seem to be yoshi and bowser.Just seems odd that everyone else's attack seem to be automatic.
 
I must have missed Pikachu's Volt Tackle but I get the impression that you don't actually move during DK's you just can increase the power with certain button combinations.
 
Yes they've finally realised that a music update alone isn't very good. Yoshi has the weirdest final smash by far now. I was thinking along the lines a giant eggs or eggs raining down from the sky.
 
I really enjoyed the music update even though I don't have AC:WW anymore. Also I was glad they used two of Yoshi's forgotten abilities from SMW for his FS.
 
Do you think Yoshi will make little earth quakes when he lands? That would be freaking epic.

But this is probably my favorite FS so far, and it seems like a very good one at that. I'd rather control my Final Smash then just have a computer aim for me.

That's the point I'm trying to make. Some people want so desperately for certain things to be true that they're making terrible leaps in logic.

In which game? I remember the plants in the tubes, but a GIANT piranha named Petey eludes me.

Honestly... Lots of people can have different opinions on different characters but it doesn't end up meaning anything. If you want to say that you think a character will be in brawl, give reasons.... and if you don't think a certain guy will make it, give reasons as well. How obscure or well known a character is kind of debatable, but how important a character is to a series or the fanbase can be better defined.

This is exactly why Sonuis stated 2 or 3 pages ago that people should stop speculating on characters. Reading the way people are explaining their guesses you'd think ANYONE could be the next character in this game. It just isn't like that, all this Ridley/Sonic/Petey/whoever stuff needs to be put to rest until the character is confirmed on the website.

Of course, while we're on the topic... I want Conker.

Petey Pirahna first appeared as a boss for getting a shine sprite in Super Mario Sunshine. I highly doubt seeing him as playable, but an assist trophy would be nice. He could spew the sludge that he does when you fight him in SMS. It would damage whoever it hits and make surfaces slippery (like the ice platforms in SSBM's Ice Climber level).
 
Diddy looks sick. I can't wait to play him. When i would play dk country i would always switch to diddy. Plus he is wearing a fitted, i don't know what would be more gangsta.

Okay seriously, all bullshit aside this is my favourite final smash released so far hands down, no question. One of the reasons I'm excited to play as Pit is purely because he is an angel. Now with Yoshi's final smash he's got these beautiful wings and.... ooh, just joygasm! I can't wait to play it.

I also quite like the AC song that was in today's update, but who was the reference to at the end of the update? Anyone know?
 
imo sakurai is toying around with us in regards to an animal crossing pc

at this point i'm pretty sure there will be one...

i wonder if that was just him thinking aloud, or it was an actual hint he dropped. it could mean something for smashville, almost as if a certain event will happen while you're fighting. when kk plays in one of the pics, you see the characters looking at him. maybe a train comes and a character hops off?

Yeah, pissing all over your opponent would be sweet, but Conker's owned by Rare, not Nintendo, so the chances are pretty small. :(

And Yoshi's FS looks great. I've had my doubt about how these Final Smashes would affect the game, but if the rest are as cool as that and Volt Tackle, then I really don't care. ^_^

Edit: Well, it looks like he is a non-character after all. Petey, that is.

Shit... all of my wanted characters are going to end up being bosses aren't they :/... (not that Petey was one of them)
