Not exactly a bug, but more of an oversight : since dynamaxed attacks are listed as different from the normal ones, they can trigger the illusion warning (which I didn't know about actually, very nice thinking). It might be possible Z-moves follow the same behavior, I didn't check.

Steely Spirit will not indicate on your partner that they have a boost. It will for the mon with the ability (e.g. Perrserker), but if your ally selects a steel move it will not show in the tooltip the boost (e.g. like "iron head 120 (1.5 from steely spirit)"). However the damage calculation seems to be working correctly. Not sure if this should show in the tooltip for allies or not?

Item legalities in older generations aren't changing once you select a different tier per team, for example, gems show up as illegal in BW OU (image attached)

Not sure what happened here... my Drampa certainly had Berserk but it never activated in this battle (see turn 16)

I'm sorry I don't have much other proof (I closed the tab thinking the replay would be enough) but if you guys could just re-check the interactions with Berserk and Dynamaxing, that would be helpful. Thanks.
It's just Sheer Force weirdness. Not a bug on Showdown's part.

I think there's something wrong with Wandering Spirit: it normally activates, but when Shadow Sneak is used, it doesn't work correctly, and when Shedinja is using this move the ability does not even activating, this is what I saw. I don't know if this bug is connected with other moves or abilities

shedinja doesn't activate wandering spirit because wonder guard can't be used for it. This happens with other moves that change abilities.

[05:48:41] becky thatcher: Do sticky webs raise special attack if you have the competitive ability in Sw & Sh?
[05:49:44] Lady Rhea: pretty sure yes since it works with defiant
[05:50:38] becky thatcher: I saw a Weedletwineedle where he shows it not working for him for defiant or competitive. Maybe because he used court change?
[05:53:04] becky thatcher: This is why I ask the question: In showdown, sticky webs currently raise special attack for defiant but a video on the YouTube channel WeedleTwineedle (not sure if I'm allowed to put links here, but it's one of the latest) shows that it shouldn't work.
[05:53:56] #Lionyx: links are okay if it's to show that a mechanic works differently ingame than on showdown becky
[05:58:29] becky thatcher: Here's a pastebin: https://pastebin.com/5JFRcpf5
[05:58:31] becky thatcher: One of the links is weedle's video of the mechanic and the other is my replay (turn 3)
[06:00:33] becky thatcher: I just noticed Weedle has a pinned comment where he points out it works in showdown but not in-game.

There might be another bug with the Natdex format, in addition to the already reported HA availability one:
- Stuff like Teleport (VC move) + Wish (egg move) on Clefable is considered illegal, even though you can now transfer egg moves without breeding.
EDIT: Further tested with Bide+Astonish Haunter to make sure it's not due to the HA bug, and can confirm the illegal move combination bug is real.

competitive and defiant don't activate when you are responsible for your own stat drops. in doubles lowering your partners stat won't activate defiant and sticky webs that are set up by yourself and are court changed by yourself won't activate your own competitive or defiant. in the replay your opponent was the one who set up webs so your competitive was activated.
