This is because your own Pokemon (Ribombee) set up the webs and they were then court changed onto your side. Defiant will only activate when your stats are lowered by an opponent, as your Ribombee set up the webs your stats were technically lowered by an ally.

Zacian and Zamazenta behave differently in Balanced Hackmons and Pure Hackmons even though both formats are supposed to simulate the same on-cart behaviour. I'm not 100% certain that this is a bug, but at this point I am like...97.456% certain that it is (though I don't know which format's implementation is correct), so I'm posting it here:-

https://www.smogon.com/forums/threads/pure-hackmons-om-of-the-month.3656851/page-2#post-8355658

If this is somehow correct behaviour, I would very much appreciate any kind of explanation. Thank-you!

Counter doesn't appear to work properly in Gen 1 OU: https://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/gen1ou-1065435830

Counter is supposed to "Deal damage to the opposing Pokemon equal to twice the damage dealt by the last move used in the battle." Counter will fail if "the last move used by either side did 0 damage and was not Confuse Ray, Conversion...Reflect" etc.

Unless the wording of the Smogon page for counter is incorrect, this would suggest that on move 38 of the replay above counter should have worked - explosion (killing starmie), followed by reflect and then counter.

Is this a bug, or do I just not understand counter?

Pressure doesn't work on Clefable: https://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/gen8customgame-1065572103

I tested it with both Suicune and Deoxys and it didn't work in either case. I then tested it with unaware Quagsire and pressure worked as intended. Then I tested it with cute charm Clefable (not in the replay) and pressure did nothing in that case. I'm not going to go through every Pokemon but I have established that, for whatever reason, pressure doesn't work on Clefable. Is there a hidden mechanic I'm missing?

Pressure only works on moves that target the Pressurer. Aromatherapy affects your party and Mega Kick was aimed to Deoxys.

MISSING DATA:
There are no specific details (obtainable from the '/dt cotton down' command line) regarding to what degree Cotton Down affects speed.
I get that we're waiting on Bulbapedia and Serebii to copy each other before we copy them (which is lazy imo) but it would be nice to know in the meantime, if we know and nobody has formally written it.

Other data still missing:
Heights/Lengths/Wingspans of certain G-Max Pokémon, i.e. Toxtricity, Toxtricity-Low-Key, Snorlax, Sandaconda, Orbeetle, Machamp, Lapras, Kingler, Hatterene, Grimmsnarl, Gengar, Garbodor, Duraludon, Coalossal, Centiskorch, Copperajah, Flapple, Appletun

Cotton Down is -1 Speed.

There isn't any such data for G-Max Pokemon height, etc. as far as I know in the games. Even if there were, it has no impact on battles so it's trivial information at best.

Team rejected problem??

I have encountered a problem with the azumarill set regarding gen7. The team refuses me as ability + moves are incompatible for gen distance, but these combinations are allowed via transfer (in this case we are talking about charm + whirlpool + sap sipper). I used this set in a game, dating back to around August / September, and it didn't give me any errors. I attach replay and screen error.

Your ability to use that set was the bug. Marill only learns Charm as an Azurill, and Marill cann only have Sap Sipper and Whirlpool from gen 2 transfer. (Azurill didn't exist in GSC)

This seems to crop up a lot; maybe it should be filed under NOT BUGS on the initial post?
There's even a message warning about that! In-game, if you have a Bisharp, the message looks like this:

Go! Bisharp!
Bisharp was caught in a sticky web!
Bisharp's Speed fell!
(Court Change Sticky Web counts as lowering your own Speed, and Defiant only affects stats lowered by foes.)

It only appears to the Bisharp's owner, not in the replay, because it would leak Bisharp's ability.

Apparently Cabrita Galega didn't notice it.

Stench Kanto Weezing is currently allowed everywhere. It shouldn't be; it's currently unreleased.

Koffing received Stench as a hidden ability this generation, but there's no way to evolve a Koffing into Kanto Weezing in SWSH. The only current way to obtain a Kanto Weezing is through transfer. Weezing can't receive Stench upon being ported up from Gen 7 to Gen 8 like it can with it's ability 1 Neutralizing Gas.

At least for methods in Gen 5-7, whenever a method of obtaining a Pokemon gives a Pokemon it's Hidden Ability, the hidden ability flag won't be set on a Pokemon without a hidden ability. This was the case with Duskull's family upon gaining frisk in the transition from BW -> XY and it seems to be that way for the Koffing Line. I transferred a Koffing from Gen 2 which would normally give the Pokemon it's hidden ability, but the Koffing kept levitate upon transfer through Home. This, coupled with the fact it's impossible to evolve Koffing into Kanto Weezing in SWSH makes Stench Weezing illegal.
