BUG STATUS: CONFIRMED - CHAT (CLIENT) same as this bug (DaWoblefet)

The following scenario occured: This match(Balanced Hackmons) I used a Solgaleo with Liquid Ooze. My opponent used Core Enforcer to suppress the ability, after which they switched in Imposter Blissey. The tooltip when hovering over the transformed Blissey indicates that its ability is suppressed, just like Solgaleo's. On the next turn I used Leech Seed, and at the end of said turn the transformed Blissey's Liquid Ooze ability applies its effect and the tooltip returns to normal. I am not sure whether the bug lies within Imposter not properly copying the ability suppression, or if the initial tooltip is the bugged part. Either way, something's not right here.

This bug occured in both the match and the saved replay of the match.

I was running a harvest Exeggutor with 0 IVs and speed down nature in TR I will also go first against an Azumarill (unless priority move) and I was thus proving I wasn't chlorophyll. But in Turn 12 of this I used up my sitrus berry and sun was still active and never got the activation of harvest to return the berry despite it being a 100% activation.

Replay link: https://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/gen8bdspubers-1519394701

BUG STATUS: CONFIRMED - MECHANICS (SERVER) looks like Sitrus Berry didn't activate immediately after poison damage (DaWoblefet)

Three bugs:
1) On mobile, looking for the mons learning the move Drill Run by taping "Drill" and clicking "Drill Run" will give you this result:
Screenshot_20220302-035921.png

BUG STATUS: CONFIRMED - TEAMBUILDER, seems to be because of Excadrill and Drill Run (DaWoblefet)

I know that the following aren't the only examples of moves that work weirdly in past generations, but imo those two in particular stick out. I don't know PS' policy about that kind of thing, so in doubt i'm reporting these
2) Fake Out cannot fail if used in gen1custombattle, even if used multiple turns in a row
https://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/gen1customgame-1506916129
3) Same goes with protect and its clones:
https://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/gen1customgame-1518669064-un7siya4j199wav24iysq57fgmt68fwpw

BUG STATUS: NOT A BUG, using moves before their generation may have unusual, but not "incorrect" effects (DaWoblefet)

Alright, so as seen in the image my rank is wrong, regardless if I win/lose they both go up/down. Not sure how this occurred, but I'd be cool if you guys/girls could fix it.

BUG STATUS: CONFIRMED - OTHER, this is ultimately due to ladder lag; there's not a whole lot that can be done, it's a longstanding bug. Your /rank ELO, etc. is the correct ELO (DaWoblefet)

Bug: Switch occurs at the wrong time in Triple Battles
Cause: Maybe this mechanic was badly programmed

This video shows the bug. It's not mine though
The Moltres should have went to the center when the Articuno-Galar fainted, not when Zapdos-base fainted.

In-game, if there remain exactly two Pokémon, with exactly one on either side, but without the opposing Pokémon being in a 1-spot radius from the other one, both will go to the center.

In this situation, the move should have happened (examples with Pikachu, Eevee and Psyduck. Crossed out ones are fainted):
PikachuPsyduckEevee
PikachuPsyduckEevee
But not in this situation:
PikachuPsyduckEevee
PikachuPsyduckEevee
Or this one:
PikachuPsyduckEevee
PikachuPsyduckEevee
In other words, the switch should only occur if both Pokémon cannot have access to each other, even if both only know long-range moves.

BUG STATUS: NEEDS MORE RESEARCH, I'd prefer to see cart footage of this Triples interaction (DaWoblefet)

every time i open up a team to look through/edit in the installed version of PS it turns into a screen like this where the mon is nulled and the stats don't show.
1646543197212.png
For some reason, the installed version of PS adds angle brackets inside the paste and causes it to be corrupt every time a team is open which makes it really annoying having to fix it through 6 pokemon.
1646543478952.png
if i put the team in a pokepast with the brackets attached it makes it worse.
https://pokepast.es/cf5005963cf0ecb1
if a pokemon is nicked it deletes the pokemons name.
1646543701055.png
the teams will work for the most part but it's just extremely inconvenient and has been happening for like 6 months now.

BUG STATUS: NEEDS MORE INFO, particularly your operating system and other specs related to that since you're using the downloaded version. In general, I strongly recommend using your browser to access Showdown (DaWoblefet)

This is not a gameplay related bug, so apologies if this is the wrong place.
I am attempting to use the Showdown app on my macbook. I am running macOS Monterey 12.2.1 and I am on apple silicon (M1), not Intel. The application crashes extremely frequently, rarely letting me get through a full battle uninterrupted. I've placed the error message in a spoiler tag. I installed the app from your website and this is consistent behavior.

BUG STATUS: NEEDS MORE INFO, just in the sense that a developer with a Mac would have to look into this. In general, I would strongly recommend using the website version of Showdown rather than the downloadable client (DaWoblefet)

Here's the set: https://pokepast.es/a61dcb7c6580fa7e
Go to turn 9 and you can see that Xurkitree outsped my Staravia. Staravia has a speed of 426 since it has max speed EVs and a Choice Scarf equipped. I dynamaxed (which I read doesn't affect anything other than HP) and the Xurkitree just used Z-Hypnosis on turn 6, which made it remove the debuff from the sticky webs when it switched in, but other than that, it couldn't have outsped. But it did so anyway.
Was this a glitch? Maybe the game thought that sticky webs wasn't there? I don't see how or what happened, I am just thoroughly confused.
Thank you for your time.

BUG STATUS: NOT A BUG, Choice items' effects are negated while the user is dynamaxed. (Dawn of Ares)

The backend is handling this correctly, but the client isn't noting the fact that marowak's stats have rolled over since they passed 1024 (i.e. I'm fairly certain that 1530 should not be displayed here)

BUG STATUS: CONFIRMED - MECHANICS (CLIENT) (DaWoblefet)

Also, the message is a little misleading since if you get a marowak to +4, it will actually do more damage than a +2 one would.

BUG STATUS: NOT A BUG, this is mistaken; as the replay showed, the rollover did cause Marowak to do less damage. However, it doesn't even say anything about reduced damage, just that stats roll over.

I think I found a visual glitch with illusion. I let an illusion mon consume its focus sash when hit with the illusion still intact, then when I switch in the mon that's appearance was copied with illusion, it says it consumed the focus sash.

BUG STATUS: CONFIRMED - MECHANICS (CLIENT) add it to the never-ending list of Illusion bugs (DaWoblefet)

It appears as if the command /blockchallenges friends does not work as intended, despite giving different text than /blockchallenges. It just blocks all challenges. The proof is in the image, but the & PM didn't give me any notice this time, even though last time a friend sent me a challenge it did.

"pivot" works as a /ds filter, but its inverse, "!pivot", does not. the latter should include pokemon such as kartana, for example.
i feel this is low priority since this can be done the long way with "!uturn, !flipturn, !teleport, !voltswitch" but the shorter version should probably still function.

BUG STATUS: CONFIRMED - CHAT (SERVER) (DaWoblefet)

Hello if this is not the place to put this feel free to delete it. To preface this in sword and shield, the hack check that allows Pokémon for trading/battling has a mistake/oversight in that where any Pokémon past gen 1 with a lgpe origin mark can not be used. This included Pokémon that got evolutions after they were introduced in gen 1 like Crobat, Blissey, Steelix and a lot more. Showdown does not go by this and this leaves 6 Pokémon to my knowledge of having moves that can only be gotten by their pre evolutions in lgpe but upon evolving to their post gen 1 evolutions get flagged by the hack check and can not be used in cartridge wifi battles. If showdown wants to replicate the cartridge to its best abilities then these Pokémon with these moves should also be flagged illegal imo.
The Pokémon Include:</p><p></p><p>Blissey: Celebrate (new event move for chansey)

Lickilicky: Acid (new level up move for lickitung)

Rhyperior: Sand Attack(new level up move for rhyhorn and don)

Politoad: Low Kick (new level up move for poliwhirl)

Porygon 2 and Porygon Z: Barrier (Nat dex exclusive) (new level up move for Porygon)

All these moves are available only in lgpe by their previous evolutions and these Pokémon with these moves have no way to be able to be used in cartridge wifi battles.

BUG STATUS: NOT A BUG, looks like Game Freak fixed this at some point; an LGPE-origin Crobat and Politoed both passed the SwSh validator in online trade and battle for me (DaWoblefet)
