At turn 8 Slowking uses Sleep Talk, which calls Rest, which should fail (not only because of gen3 Sleep Talk- Rest mechanics, but also because Slowking has full HP). However it manages to use the move

BUG STATUS: CONFIRMED - MECHANICS (SERVER), in Gen III, when not asleep and used at full HP, Rest will play "[Pokemon]'s HP is full!", but if Rest is used via Sleep Talk while asleep, whether or not at full HP, Rest will play "[Pokemon] is already asleep!" (DaWoblefet)

I already postet this on the Pokemon-Calculator-Programming thread but this seems to be a PSD-Problem and not a Calculator problem so i will also post it here:

Hello together, i am here to report an issue me and a friend found regarding eviolith-mons and their damage-received in "Gen 8 Nat Dex AG".
To make it short: Sometimes the damage is just... wrong. It acts like the Pokemon receiving the damage did not hold an eviolith despiteit holding that item. Or the damage just didnt made sense at all.
We first did a testfight to confirm the problem we found was reproducable and indeed we succeeded in reproducing it. Unfortanetly we didnt do !showteam in battle, so i had to do another fight with a Showdown-Mod to prove the sets that are used really are with items etc.
So, on to the Test-Fight with the moderator:
https://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/gen8nationaldexag-1500934664-u5nruxgyce9j3yot6cdlg7s4epd3l1lpw

For the first two rounds nothing special happens. At first i thought the problem would be solved or may not have been there in the first place. As the Choice Specs Hydro Pump of Greninja did 21% to a physical-defense blissey (you can see both exact sets in the replay) and 37% to a special defensive Electabuzz. But then the first anomaly happened: The hydro pump did over 80% to a physically defense Floette. This only makes sense if the damage is calculated without the eviolith being brought into the equasion, as it should only do max 58.9% according to the calculator . Then the same situation again, this time a Non-Mega-Latias using psyshock on a physical defense Floette dealing around 37%, again only possible without the eviolith beingput into the damage-equasion.
The Calculator i used for calcing:
https://calc.pokemonshowdown.com/index.html

After some further testing we limited the mons that are affected by this are those, who are not available in sword and shield and only in Net Dex AG, i.e. Murkrow, Servine, Floette and Gligar:
https://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/gen8nationaldexag-1501213775-rir9dd0mo33l6fas5bq2ctfct508dywpw

I hope my explanation is good enough for you guys to understand this issue and i hope it helps solving this.
Greetings
S0toMoto

Edit:
I did some more testing and can now say this bug also applies to
Gen 8 Nat Dex: https://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/gen8nationaldex-1501258609-30adfl5vdqjrhhmolqhta3hzh92yjndpw

Gen 8 Metronome Battle allows a user to attempt to search for a battle with an empty team. This is not normal, as usually it will say "Please select a team first" in other formats. EDIT: also seems to be an issue in many formats not just this one if you attempt to start a battle with an empty team.

BUG STATUS: CONFIRMED - CHAT (CLIENT) same as this bug (DaWoblefet)

unknown.png
so currently when i use /ds fe it shows NON-fully-evolved pokémon, but when i do /ds !fe, what should show non-fully-evolved pokémon, it shows the actual FE mons

1643752873515.png

ALSO happens with randpoke but i believe its an issue with the proper tags and not with /ds.

Bug: specs Intelleon forced to struggle with 6/8 Hydro pump pp
https://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/...-1502939792-fyutu3zzfzx9puwrlngryuj603urh6tpw
Sadly the replay is kind of useless since the Intelleon got outsped by starmie and killed before it could use struggle but towards the end of the game I was forced to struggle the turn Intelleon died. I didn't realize it at first so sadly I do not have a Screenshot of it :/
Edit: it's turn 45 and before max geyser was used 3 times into pressure. If max geyser takes Hydro pump pp it's a visual bug at least

BUG STATUS: NOT A BUG, Dynamax moves use the PP of the original move. This isn't a visual bug either because it prevents leaking of which move is used for the dynamax move. (Dawn of Ares)

In this replay Shelgon takes 10% from confusion at +1 attack while holding eviolite. According to the Shelgon spread and confusion being a 40 bp typeless attack this shouldn't happen.
Shelgon @ Eviolite
Ability: Rock Head
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Atk / 252 Def
Impish Nature
- Dragon Dance
- Outrage
- Rest
- Sleep Talk
+1 4 Atk Shelgon Scratch vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Eviolite Shelgon: 21-25 (6.2 - 7.4%) -- possibly the worst move ever
+1 4 Atk Shelgon Scratch vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Shelgon: 30-36 (8.9 - 10.7%) -- possibly the worst move ever

It seems like confusion ignores the defense boost from eviolite (in gen V at least), not sure if this is cart accurate or not since I couldn't find anything about it online. I know it is supposed to ignore attack boosting items like CB and LO so maybe it's not a bug, thought I'd post here anyway so someone could verify it.

BUG STATUS: NOT A BUG, self-hit confusion doesn't use most stat/damage modifiers (DaWoblefet)

Teambuilder issue bug with Gastrodon form variant.
I noticed this bug when I was building a gen6ou team with Gastrodon-East (I wanted to nickname it after Notorious B.I.G from East Coast which is VERY important).
I played around with this bug a bit and noticed when you have Gastrodon-East selected and have your text cursor the box for selecting a pokemon picked. (setup like below)
1644299950828.png

And then click anywhere else like item, ability, moves, nickname and stats the form changes back to Gastrodon-West.
To add on to this, if the pokemon has a filled in moveset, EVs, ability selected, etc. it will turn back into Gastrodon-West and remove all the moves, spreads, chosen ability and nickname.
Resulting in this:

it says Zacian knows multiple copies of behemoth blade when Zacian knows 2 or more moves, including behemoth blade

BUG STATUS: NOT A BUG, as fart says, you had Behemoth Blade and Iron Head on your Zacian (DaWoblefet)

Hi there, got a bug in tournament creation on PS!

Earlier today I started a gen6 randbats tour in the randbats room, during signups someone came in complaining about Calyrex in some unrelated battle, I tried /tour rules -Calyrex as a joke, getting the Custom rule error: Custom bans are not currently supported in [Gen 6] Random Battle. error message. However, when the tour eventually started, nobody was able to challenge with the following error, probably related to trying to ban something not in the available set in the first place.

Your team was rejected for the following reasons:
- [Gen 6] Random Battle's team generator (random) failed using these rules and seed (40255,23376,60377,15912):-
- Error: Custom bans are not currently supported in [Gen 6] Random Battle.

This is minor and kind of subjective. Banning "thing1" but unbanning "thing1+thing2" still wont allow thing1 on a set with thing2. The Custom Rules specification say that more specific must trump less specific, and the latter is clearly more specific than the former.

BUG STATUS: NOT A BUG, in the sense that complex unbans are just not supported on ps at the moment (Karthik).

Suggestions to implement this have already been made:

Something wrong happened with the Grassy Terrain duration here! It seems the terrain countdown shown in Showdown was erroneous, it apparently lasted six turns.

https://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/gen8vgc2022-1511394703-nc7t30bcvhd6dri0f4h8y47ip394h7zpw

BUG STATUS: CONFIRMED - MECHANICS (SERVER) the Grassy Surge should have kicked in immediately, allowing Blastoise to heal, and only lasted 4 turns after that. I tested this with Sticky Barb KOing the Neutralizing Gas mon as well (which happens in the end-turn effects after Grassy Terrain wearing off) and that gave you 5 full turns of recovery (DaWoblefet)

An Urshifu-Rapid-Strike appeared as regular Urshifu on team preview. Don't know if bug or not, but it can be misleading for sure.

Screen Shot 2022-02-16 at 5.52.59 PM.png
Screen Shot 2022-02-16 at 5.53.16 PM.png

BUG STATUS: NOT A BUG, the Single-Strike forme is just used as the default since you aren't supposed to be able to tell what forme Urshifu is during Team Preview. A suggestion has already been made to change the sprite to something more generic to prevent a situation like yours from happening https://www.smogon.com/forums/threads/generic-urshifu-form.3666734/ (Karthik)

Explosion has the wrong priority at the end of battle. From Gen VI onward, explosion should cause the opponent to faint prior to the user fainting, however, as it currently stands, the user will faint first giving the opponent the win. It can be seen on the last turn of this battle:
https://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/gen8randombattle-1513326338-9w2wu4o470qu3ff8r7v602iylgrh3hqpw

BUG STATUS: NOT A BUG, Explosion does lose because the Explosion user in fact faints first on cart (DaWoblefet)

Double Battle in gen4 seems to contain a lot of bugs.

https://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/gen4vgc2010-1514375737-tkhbwvhx0zyyzi61ofbe52irbpo6dbapw

In gen4, damage calculations are not done at the same time, so this same durable Dialga should not take the same damage.

BUG STATUS: CONFIRMED - MECHANICS (SERVER) (DaWoblefet)

https://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/gen4vgc2010-1514378840-9dstcidgrclhypslub5hgj783z29vy0pw

Also, in gen4, the order in which Pressure and Drizzle are triggered should not be affected by speed.

BUG STATUS: CONFIRMED - MECHANICS (SERVER) (DaWoblefet)

https://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/gen4vgc2010-1514380636-r1r9meu4csh213u1rxoa90jena0x9kwpw

In gen4, Explosion does not reduce damage if there are less than two targets, so I think this is a bug too.

BUG STATUS: CONFIRMED - MECHANICS (SERVER) In general, support for doubles in generations prior to 5 isn't great. (DaWoblefet)

For some strange reason, Ferroseed appears twice when you sort by stats in the teambuilder. In this example, I sorted by Defense.

There's some bug(s) in the friend system: It's possible to deny non-existing friend requests using commands where it probably should give the error message that there is none, and similarly it's possible to keep clicking the buttons for the response even though they don't effectively do anything.
