BUG STATUS: NOT A BUG, When Dynamaxing, you can Max any move even those that are disabled, unless all of your moves are disabled, but this didn't apply until after the Taunt. (urkerab)

Hey i just tested this on cart due to curiousity and it does the same thing on cartridge. (ignore the last minute, i forgot to cut lol)
However I am unsure if this applies if you encore a damaging move, as i forgot forgot to test that as well

Bug: Selecting an Ability freezes the online dex
Where: PSdex

Self-explanatory: look at the address bar and the site itself. If I click any Ability (Soundproof in this case, as this is the Ability I first noticed this with), the site freezes until I refresh. Refreshing the site means I will go to whatever the content of the address bar seems appropriate, in this case, to the description page of the Soul Dew.

The teambuilder displays XY models instead of BW sprites even if the "Use BW sprites instead of XY models" setting is active. This happens whenever a gen 6, gen 7, or gen 8 format is selected. However, this only applies to pre-gen 8 Pokémon. For Pokémon introduced in gen 8, a sprite is properly displayed when the setting is active. Screenshot attached below:

Check if this is a bug. "Expanding force" is a whole attack, but it only attacks one opponent. Thank you for your confirmation.

BUG STATUS: NOT A BUG, I know for a fact there's nothing wrong with Expanding Force right now (DaWoblefet)

Should be a quick fix. According to a quick Google search (and research specialist Enigami) the max PP for a move in generation one (RBY) is 61. However, there are a few moves on PS! that have 64 PP in RBY Battles. These moves are:

Acid Armor
Defense Curl
Growl
Growth
Meditate
Poison Gas
Splash
String Shot
Withdraw

If someone could change these to the proper PP (61) that'd be much appreciated!

Since some time yesterday I can't see the avatar / team of the player on the left. This applies to both in-game and replays. If I switch sides, it's still the player on the left that I can't see. Now if I zoom in to 110% or more, I can see everything just fine. I heard from someone with the same issue. Interestingly, taking a screenshot with the built in option in Firefox reveals the team and avatar. I used a snipping tool to take pictures that show the issue. I tried restarting the browser and clearing the showdown cookies, just in case, but it didn't change anything. Let me know if you need any additional information.

Checking my Firefox version revealed that it was 94.0.2 (so not the newest version). Also today the issue disappeared (without having updated Firefox yet), after restarting the browser (which I had also tested before, but initially without success).

Today so far during both of these games I was inexplicably unable to switch to two of my non-fainted pokemon.

DaWoblefet So the issue was that during those two games, there would be 2 pokemon that if i clicked on them the program wouldn't be responsive but i was still able to succesfully get any of the 3 remaining pokemon switched in by clicking on their icon.

DaWoblefet I'm not sure how else to help you. When I moved my mouse to click those pokemon , and clicked them, there was no response, the program was not letting me switch the pokemon in. However, when I hovered my mouse over the other prospective switchins, it showed the preview including their moveset as normal, and when I clicked on them, the program switched them in as normal. For what it's worth, I hopped on PS just now and used the same team and seems everything's back to normal, I'm not sure if it was just brief client-side issue but it's worth looking into.

Bug: Gen 5 sprites for Vivillon's alternate patterns (except Fancy/Poké Ball) don't exist in the sprite database for PS

For some reason, while the spreadsheet for the XY sprite project includes the Gen 5 style Vivillon sprites for all of its patterns and their links are denoted as final, the sprites are still not included in PS. I assume this is a mistake.

It's not that these sprites for Vivillon's patterns (except Meadow/Fancy/Poké Ball) will never load due to pings, they will never load because they don't exist in the sprite database.

Visual bug- Sticky web's pp appears to be affected by pressure, but it isn't. Spectators and the player with the pressure pokemon see that sticky web loses 2 pp against a pressure mon if sticky web is successful, but the player with the sticky web mon sees that it only loses 1 pp. This means that shuckle will be able to use sticky web while appearing to have negative sticky web pp to everybody but the shuckle user. If sticky web fails (there's already a web up), everybody sees that it only loses 1 pp. Sticky web isn't supposed to be affected by pressure, so the issue is with it appearing that 2 pp is lost per successful web.

Sticky barb bug, the barb would act weird when switching between opponents. Sorry, but I don't really know if it shows in early game, but later in the game at turn 47 (the pex to pex interaction), if u hover the tentacool's pex, it says we have no item, but in chat and in game we were hurt by the barb. Small glitch, but impacted our ghosting tour game lol.

BUG STATUS: CONFIRMED - MECHANICS (CLIENT), Sticky Barb doesn't show you swapping Pokemon on cart, so you can't always keep track of it, but there were a few turns in this game where it didn't where it'd be possible (DaWoblefet)

Bug: Party member entry that shows on hovering has a slash / before Item: in Gen 2 battles

The slash shouldn't be there (for Gen 2 only!) because Abilities didn't exist in Gen 2. The screenshot below shows the bug.

When I type "/nms lowers attack, all" on Showdown, neither Parting Shot nor Strength Sap shows up in the search results.

found a strange bug when joining a gen2 tournament battle (randbats). can't view the battle, not sure how to replicate, but i'm on chrome and macOS. the messages repeat in this fashion in the entire chat for all turns.

Bug: Online dex says Urshifu's Gigantamax forms are unobtainable, even though they are obtainable.

Urshifu's Gigantamax forms are obtainable with Max Soup. However, the Max Soup must also contain Max Honey.

Fake out message either not clear or fakeout into instruct should work. Fakeout works on the first turn out and I performed it here, the message says it won't work but both fakeouts are on first turn. See turn 7 for example

Turn 1 I have mew and a-ninetales... I used skill swap with mew on ninetales so now mew has snow warning and ninetales synchronize
Turn 3 I switch out ninetales for malamar (it has contrary) and I use skill swap with mew on malamar so at the end of the turn I should have mew with contrary and malamar with snow warning... instead showdown tells me that both of my mon now have snow warning. I tested out this "bug" and it seems only a visual bug, mew has contrary even if showdown says snow warning.

Actually the replay can't show the whole story. Did you look at their abilities while choosing your moves or were you just hovering while the battle animations played? If the latter, then the client can only swap abilities that it has seen, as Skill Swap doesn't announce the abilities unless you're swapping with your opponent.
