Comic genius! I honestly haven't giggled that much at a web comic in a while! Can't wait to see more!

Damn good artwork as well.
 
I have a day off today, so I'll probably use some of it to draw. Just finished some more fakemons, who are a revamp of an older idea. Although to cut down on production time, I didn't bother to copy the style of Ken Sugimori.

AZ did something similar, but this idea is not a copy. What she did was to bring up the musical and the use of noble clothing, but if we're going to be strict with the originality clause, we might as well accuse her of copying other comics who joked about contests and their dress codes from earlier generations.

Don't know if I'll be using this idea though. But it is tempting.

a comic parodying the NSFW stuff of pokemon floating around the internet could be funny too.
 
Yilx' ghost/rock fakemon inspired me to work and polish up my own idea for one, so I went ahead and finished them in the same style as those before.

The last stage was originally supposed to be a Ghost/Fire, but I couldn't get the flames and its previous stage to work. So I killed that idea, and then I revived it in this evolutionairy line! The first stage could be made more different so it doesn't look like a Gastly copy, but eh.

If it's already out on the internet, then there's no need to bring more attention to it. I want people to see new material on my site, not the same 4chan images which can be found anywhere else.

also I'd like to keep a very safe distance from NSFW stuff, parody or not.

I'd actually read all of these on your website before, but when I finally noticed this thread, I couldn't help but read it, since they never fail to crack me up.

One thing I noticed was someone posted an idea about escape rope. It was on page 4 or so, but I'm too lazy to quote it. Anyway, you said it acts like a teleportation device.

I'd say it's more a matter of it acting like a lifeline.

Panel 1: Trainer in a cave, half dead, and surrounded by angry wild Pokemon.
Panel 2: *dramatic pose* <Trainer> uses Escape Rope!
Panel 3: A line tied to his belt/around the waist goes taut, yanking him back
Panel 4: Being dragged through the cave at high speed, maybe passing trainers, hitting obstacles
Panel 5?: Ends up exhausted and bruised at the cave entrance


That said, I support Mekkah's Pornygon idea.

Edit: Aww shit, forgot to luv it. Fix'd.
 
I think it would be better if it showed him being pulled up some stairs. dragged through some water but then get stuck on one of those tiny little ledges that only go one way, just to see him then surrounded by even more wild pokemon.

I almost peed my pants at how funny this one was. Nice. It's so true: that's where Oak gets his starters.
 
Just had a weird idea for a comic which I think may work. I was thinking how Red says nothing when you meet him on Mt Silver, and then I was thinking of Lyra's kinda ridiculous outfit, and then that actually Red's silence is more of a "What are you wearing?" sort of reaction.
Just a silly little idea that amused me. :)
 
According to Chandelure's Pokédex, it has so much attacking power because it burns the souls of its opponents directly, leaving only the body behind. But how would this work against something like Porygon2, which doesn't have a soul due to its manufactured nature? Might be worth looking at.
 
alternately, use any red-haired pokemon for that joke to make it even more controversial

The comics are funny as heck. XD The fakemon designs are incredible.

Speaking of which, they should make a fakemon server with a collection of all the fakemon people submit {100-200} and see what happens. That way, these awesome designs would be put to use.

guys remember that the pokedex is retarded; it doesn't make good comic material since what it states is often a myth

If we're still on the topic of Porygon, why not one about a guy who sends his mutual enemy a Porygon as a "gift", but it ends up transferring a few hundred viruses into his computer?
 
Gonna try and see if I can update Mondays with a quick comic. This one got tree times bigger though, but with the options available, I preferred to press all of them together.

Ha. This is a better take on it, instead of magically teleporting somewhere. When I get around doing some RBY themed strips, I can see myself making this one! Although the lineup I'd like to use would be:

Panel 1: "Red's team has gotten weary! Red used ESCAPE ROPE!"
Panel 2: Red looking back at the rope tied to his waist.
Panel 3: Yank.
Panel 4: Seen bruised and wounded at the cave entrance.

Or something. Plenty of time to discuss.

Yeah. Plenty of people go through the games without paying the pokedex much attention (I know I am!), so basing a whole strip at a pokedex entry, which is weird to begin with, doesn't make for a great concept imo.
