Which of the current designs is fat? The rhino? The mole?

Rhino, mole, Oho Jee, rat magician thingy ( at a stretch --- it's a little pudgy ), Uber's komodo. It may not be a lot, but it's there. Nevertheless, the ability does some a little fanboyish/contrived to me, so I don't necessarily support it.

Its Just A sugestion but if Cartoons wins i would say we make a new ablility Called

Handy Man

The pokemon with this ability is able to use any berry more than once in a battle (up to 3 times).

Ummmmm Recycle isn't implimented, so that would require a lot of work. Also, it seems a bit broken. Think about it: Yache Berry x3 OR Petaya Berry x3. Thats actually more than a bit broken, thats very broken.

Filter! to help it stand up vs the many EQ's it will get hit with

Iron Fist would be cool cause I don't think anyone else will agree with me on Filter and I like Ele punchers

Dry Skin is something else no one has thought of. Not trying to take away one of it's weaknesses but it's a ground type, ground types easily are in the sun, sun dries skin, it makes sense to me

Actually...
Another good ability for this guy would be Dry Skin. It gives a good water resist while creating a slight fire weakness. Poison pokemon would be loaded with toxic substances and bacteria. Bacteria seem to thrive well with water and perish in fire, so it's not too farfetched. Especially with DJD's cool snake concept. Since it's in the desert, it would be safe to say that it has dry skin/scales.

And my reply to that:

"Dry Skin", is actually "Naturally dry so it has to be moisten, and live in wet places". Like a frog. Or a gekko. Or a salamander. An amphibian's skin, basically.

Filter? On a pokemon like this? That way to broken. We can't make it invincible.

I'd like to bring up Frisk for the millionth time.Having Frisk will put that stupid land shark in its place and making it alot easier to counter. I'd be a huge help to know if it was scarfed or yatched. A BIG help. Even that might be a bit broken.

I'd love Rough Skin as well. I'll probably be ignored, but whatever. At least me votes count.

This thing should never switch into garchomp. It has nothing that could kill Chomp, while Sharky tears this thing up. Klutz and Persistant seem good to me, but I'd rather not have it effect the screens, just because it would put the hold item pretty usless

I'm against abilities that make it tank better, as that wasn't the original intent of the CAP project...

So Thick Fat/Intimidate/Filter.... those shouldn't be allowed.

I'm also against abilities that further its offensive power.. Technician falls under this, so you know, that's out.

Its ability should further its main purpose, it should have some kind of utility. Atleast when people mention Frisk that has SOME kind of utility... finding out Items isn't the MOST usefull, but it's something.

And to that person who said creating a new ability is fanboyish... come on... we're MAKING A FUCKING POKEMON!!! This is all rather fanboyish.

I'd just like to bring up forewarn as a good support ability again. Don't confuse it with anticipate (which only tells you if they have a SE move, not what it is). There are a lot of situations where knowing someone's highest BP move is very useful.

Actually I would rather know if the Salamence I'm staring down is Specs, Band, Scarf, Life Orb, or something else, rather than it's highest BP move. With frisk i mean.

Skimming to say I could imagine a few of the pokemon with Insomnia for an ability, the imp in particular.

I also like Frisk/Forewarn, those would be fitting.

There are situations where knowing a move is more useful, such as psycho boost or psychic deoxys, surf or hydro pump swampert, is this a chain chomp or sd chomp, etc.

Chain Chomp or Band Chomp is easily determined by the item, and what Deoxys runs Psycho Boost over Shadow Ball? Ill give you the Swampert example though.

I'm still not convinced of Frisk's usefullness.... The most difficult sets to figure out are those on Gengar/Salamence/Garchomp etc... I don't see this thing switching IN on any of those anytime soon, considering EQ will likely be an OHKO from Garchomp, and Gengar/Salamence are immune to its STAB Earthquake/Earthpower.

It's a good ability in theory, but against the pokemon it would be the most usefull, it falls short.

I use Psycho Boost ;>_>

Anyways, Forewarn does sound nice, but I won't be saying much else until artwork is chosen.

In my head, and maybe in others, there's a difference between taking all the toys Gamefreak has made and playing with them in whatever combination we want (types, attacks, stats, and abilities), and creating entirely new toys and throwing them against Gamefreak's.

Just saying.

Yes.
I'm still for Frisk.
It will really help for choice users, because you can out-predict your opponent and have them use a useless or ineffective move, thus giving yourself a free turn during the switch.
Also, you can see if a Pokemon is a physical or special variant based on the Choice item...of choice. Life orb doesn't say something like that, but it clues you in about how that Pokemon may be more offensively-oriented in contrast to being more defensive.

For the most part, are you going to switch in your utility Pokemon against something you believe has a Choice item? What's been said multiple times now, but apparently not heard by most people, is that it'll only show you their item on the switch in. Most Pokemon that you people are talking about using Frisk against, the only way you should have Frisk go off is if you're leading with this Pokemon.
