Having recently returned from the spirit world with his friend Sterling, Auric always feels very alone, in an unfamiliar territory.

Before he was banished to the world of ghosts, Auric had lived in a far away region which even he could not remember the name of. There, he used to serve a right and just king who was the one to give Auric, Sterling, when she was just a Cupra. Things would not always stay so happy however, as the darkness would come to take over. Auric and Sterling tried to fight, but the rest of the kingdom had abandoned them. They did not back down from the enemy, even when all hope was lost! Because of their actions, Auric and Sterling were sent to the spirit world by the darkness where they spent many ageless years searching for the exit to the shadows.

One can try to befriend this duo, but it may be difficult. Neither of the pair are very trusting of anyone, and are very secluded from society. However gaining trust won't be the most difficult part of gaining Auric's friendship. Finding him is no easy task, as he is often, despite his fear of the darkness, still fading in and out of the shadows...

Michael is a trainer hailing from the Tannia Region, a region of progress but also of ideals, much like Unova. He was that region's Fire Gym Leader before he retired and gave it to Amber as he journeyed through Unova, leaving all of his previous Pokemon behind.
His first capture in Unova, an Eevee who he named Jet, was proven to be invaluable: He trained his singlestick skills with the Pokemon who by then had evolved into Flareon, and he has proven to be a master of defenses and offenses when needed. With a chilling glare and an imposing appearance, Michael is truly an intimidating opponent to face in not only singlestick, but actual battles, even if he is around 60 years old.

Abandoned at a young age, Blaise lived at an orphanage until he turned twelve. A couple days after his birthday, a bully was stealing the food of another orphan, and Blaise proceeded to bring a chair down upon the bully's head. After the bully ran away crying, the saved orphan gave Blaise some of his food, and he realized his true calling: hitting stuff for people. That night, he grabbed a Pokeball from the orphanmaster's desk and ran away, making a living off of the people at bars who wanted revenge; after all, who would suspect a twelve-year-old of being an experienced hitman? Four years later, he continues his job, with a "borrowed" longsword added to his arsenal. His loyalty can be easily bought by coin, and once hired, he won't betray you, although this doesn't mean you won't be the next target once the current job is up.

Nature: Hasty (+Speed, -Defense) (Cost: 10 Points)

Abilities:

Limber: This Trainer's body is well trained and immune to paralysis. If the Trainer with this Ability is Electric-type, this Pokemon's Speed cannot be lowered by any method, including self-inflicted reductions. (Cost: 5)
Guts: This Trainer is tenacious and will work ever harder when under a status condition, raising the Base Attack Power of all its physical attacks by two (2). Pokemon with Guts ignore the attack drop from burn. (Cost: 10 Points)
Insomnia: This Trainer is immune to sleep induced by other Pokemon. Its normal state of sleeplessness makes it take 1 less damage and energy/action from Ghost Curse. If it is put to sleep by a Pokemon or Trainer with Mold Breaker, it will wake up the next action. If a Pokemon with Insomnia also has Vital Spirit, its Attack and BRT are increased by one (1) Rank and its accuracy is raised by one (1) stage permanently. (Cost: 5 + 5 = 10)

Also, a few quick notes:
  • Flame Emblem, sorry, but you have too many items for your trainer. While it they make sense to all be held at once, its for the sanity of refs that only one item can be carried (in addition to the item carriers). Furthermore, the Simple Backpack has a restriction of not having any trainer battle items in it (to encourage people to purchase a Runner's Backpack).
  • You can post trainer builds here, if you wish, but if you aren't signing up for an Adventure, I most likely won't comment on your build unless I see something wrong at first glance.
  • Most of the time, if an Adventure is unlocked, anyone can attempt it. If an Adventure has a requirement for precipitation, that requirement will be listed, and must be met for the Adventure to be attempted.
  • Considering reflavoring Parental Bond as Dual Wielding and allowing trainers to wield two weapons while disabling using of items like berries, medicines, and PokéBalls.

Michael is a trainer hailing from the Tannia Region, a region of progress but also of ideals, much like Unova. He was that region's Fire Gym Leader before he retired and gave it to Amber as he journeyed through Unova, leaving all of his previous Pokemon behind.
His first capture in Unova, an Eevee who he named Jet, was proven to be invaluable: He trained his singlestick skills with the Pokemon who by then had evolved into Flareon, and he has proven to be a master of defenses and offenses when needed. With a chilling glare and an imposing appearance, Michael is truly an intimidating opponent to face in not only singlestick, but actual battles, even if he is around 60 years old.

UllarWarlord, starwarsfan, Maxim, SubwayJ, Geodude6, you're with me. I'll be getting the first Chapter up in a day for the first two of those listed. However, I'll put up Chapter 2 sometime Saturday (my time) so I have enough rest and I can iron a few kinks out enough for the chapter to be playable.

If one of the refs would like to take on Someoneelse, CanisMajoris, Evasun_, or Flame Emblem, I would be very appreciative.
