There's no move called Sing-a-round or Sing a Round or anything like that on the list either.

EDIT: Nor is there A Capella or Acapella.

Chooses the switch method (Swith = OK or Switch = KO)

The raritydex and statdex list Whimsicott instead of Cottonee.

Also,

Summary: Grass STAB; Immunity to Leech Seed, and Growth, Moonlight, Morning Sun, Nature Power, Sunny Day, Sweet Scent, and Swords Dance have have Energy Cost reduced by one (1).

To clarify what Grass-types get an energy cost reduction to and what they're immune to.

Spikes: The Pokemon spreads spikes and barbs that asborb into the ground. Each time a new Pokemon is switched in, they recieve damage from the Spikes. Up to 3 layers of Spikes may be placed on the field. Each additional layer adds to the damage dealt. Rapid Spin will remove all Spikes from the field.

Absorb, receive

Also, moves that start with "Thunder" appear to be out of alphabetical order.

Is it a problem that with 4 move counters Machop can No Guard + Fissure?

Hmmm.... Good point.

I can handle this in a few ways:

1. Do Nothing

Fissure doesn't actually OHKO anything in ASB, but does do a ton of damage and change the arena. Machop and evos are grounded, so even if they do successfully pull off a Fissure, it can be used against them quite easily.

2. Change No Guard so that it specifically says it doesn't apply to OHKO moves. Right now it says that a No Guard Pokemon is smart enough to avoid OHKOs because they see the bleeding obvious. Given I've already made that exception defensively, I should make it offensively.

I'll go edit it in.

Positive Nature: A 15% increase (rounded up) in Base Speed and a +5% increase in accuracy (e.g. 85 becomes 90) on this Pokemon's attacks.
Negative Nature: A 15% decrease (rounded down) in Base Speed and a +5% increase in accuracy (e.g. 85 becomes 90) on an opponent's attacks.
Do you mean a 5% decrease in accuracy for a negative nature?

No. It's basically a decrease in evasion because everyone hates reductions in accuracy (plus it doesn't make sense that taking your time would worsen your accuracy), and its easier to add them together if both apply to accuracy (e.g. a Jolly Pokemon attacks a Brave one and gets +5 Accuracy for being Jolly and +5 Accuracy for the opponent being Brave, for a total of +10 Accuracy.)

Turns out I misread the text at the very end -_- Thanks for clarifying.

Another small matter, but should Hail, as well as the weather abilities (bar sand stream) be usable indoors? Rain Dance and Sunny Day currently can't be used indoors for obvious reasons, so it stands to reason that their ability counterparts suffer a similar restriction. No such issue is mentioned for hail unless i totally missed it somehow, but since ihail is basically hard rain i don't see why it should be usable indoors.

Sandstorm/Sand Stream's exception seems logical since the effect is from the ground rather than the sky. I suppose it balances out by being unusable in places where there isn't suffecient material for a sandstorm like on steel structures with no natural soil.

Jesseus: Wouldn't it be possible for Snover, who is Ice-typed and has the ability to send snow and ice at enemies, to invest a bit more energy before a battle and summon a hailstorm? A possible solution to your conundrum may be just "Ice-types and Water-types can use Hail or Snow Warning in any environment, even indoors," since there's already precedent for them to be able to make snow and/or ice, etc. and make Hail's description say "for types other than Ice and Water, Hail cannot be summoned indoors."

I have a quick reffing question:

How much energy is healed through chill?
A "Chill" is the only command than can restore Energy in ASB. Chills restore 10% Enegry each and are usually limited to 5 per Pokemon per match.

lol, realized there was a typo in the quote. If we're fixing grammar and stuff wanted to point that out.

I have a couple of questions about evolution, using my own team as an example. How will we acquire stones to evolve Pokémon (ex. Nidorina), and must they then be used when the EC is at 6?

And what about Pokémon like Lickitung who need to learn a move to evolve?

If a pokemon kos itself with explosion, recoil or whatever, does the opponents pokemon still get a ko counter?
Also does a pokemon actually have to be sent out to count as 'entering battle' for counter purposes? eg if a Charizard sweeps a team a dry skin paras by itself, will Ivysaur and Squirtle still get their move counters?
edit: Also can Rotom keep any form it takes once the battle is over?

If a Pokemon KOs itself with Explosion, the opponent takes a KO Counter. If it occurs in a multiple battle than the trainer can choose which of their Pokemon to apply it to.

Pokemon must be released in order to get any counters, so if you never release your second or third Pokemon, they do not get any Evolution, Move, or Dream counters.

Rotom has its own section in Unique Pokemon. If you find an appliance in battle you may keep that forme afterward, just claim it as a prize at the end of the match and update your profile.

Anyone else feel like it should take more counters to evolve a Pokémon? It takes the same number of battles to evolve a Growlithe that it does to teach it one egg move and one level up move. I was thinking like eight to get a bug to it's final form, ten for mons that evolve once and twelve for mons that evolve twice.

If I bought a Smeargle, could I use its sketches to copy moves off of my own Pokemon? If he's able to sketch my starter's starter moves I'd figure he could use his move counters to sketch other Pokemon on my team's moves outside of battle but it doesn't explicitly say he could in the OP. I only ask because this may affect my decision about getting a Smeargle, with his type of stats it might be a little difficult to set aside turns to use sketch and it'll be very challenging to get the moves you want without arranging staged battles (for the purpose of getting Smeargle moves)
