I townread dbd and carrotman was scummy + had a bizarre claim (that would have made more sense if he told the truth). always hate to vote out a new player but thats how the cookie crumbles...

I like to think that the dbd/carrotman was tvt and the mafia is spread across all the wagons

Tell me carrotman played that well with a straight face

(although granted I'm not sure how that role was ever going to go off intentionally)
 
I think liquidrelief continuing Larry's blood feud immediately with no other real content really does make me think they're just mafia independant of wether this is some 600iq distancing attempt with AP in the mix or not

here's really no benefit to coming across so strongly as mafia, when they can just hedge their vote and act surprised later. the theory you would have to run with is that like peum was running interference for scum buddy AP but then why would AP not just vote together on the same wagon. okay, third scum buddy is DBD then?

just reads to me like wrong town which happens and I do think perm's reaction to the claim was relatively reasonable.

it's tough because the two counter wagons of AP and DBD both have people I really like as town on them. it's hard for me to sniff out what mafia were trying to do at deadline

I'll have to think some more about AP's gameplan here as town vs mafia. need to look at their votes and interactions with realiti and larry
 
Yeah I dunno I wonder if this sub actually breaks town, presumably mafia!larry is just like yolo I can't keep up with this game can you guys just bus me. surely the mafia plan was not, "let's get a sub and insta throw them into the fire" that just seems not very good for the sub and not very good for the game because now there are no subs if someone else afks

let's come back to this. can you expand at all on your theory about this? are you saying your role is that at night you target someone, and then they can't be killed during the day by an action? ie being voted off still works but presumably there's a way to kill during the day?

the doctor part of pulsar's role is very strange like what's the point of blocking a night kill if there basically isn't one. do we believe that mafia has access to some kind of night kill? as some sort of comeback mechanic?
 
I was kind of wondering earlier today if mafia only gets a standard night kill when one of them is voted out during the day or something, which would explain why there's some amount of protection roles between 2 and 5 in the game but would also explain why there hasn't been a nightkill even on n1 when I self targeted and pulsar idled

the protect is also kind of a red herring to me, "non standard night kill" to me means, "the night kill is not as important." you can read it that way because if it was overly important, then there would be double and triple kills and the numbers in the game would be like 12v2 or something lol. so I'm not really interested in your role as a doc but rather a safeguard that zeroes a vote the next day, which is extremely powerful as both town and mafia tbh. that's originally why I thought maybe just maybe you are mafia here because your role provides 1. a good "fake" claim in the doc portion plus 2. extremely powerful mafia utility in zeroing out people's vote and moving them closer to parity.

I dunno. Maybe we should mass claim. I'm just throwing out words and seeing what sticks but actually not having a night kill almost makes it harder to analyze which towns are on the right track or not. Guess I gotta relook at carrotfan's thoughts
 
I guess maybe we can go DBD here. Carrotman was okay with the vote and didn't want to vote AP so I can respect that for the time being. they didn't really talk about larry which was too bad. someone else can think about what dbd town means for everyone, unfortunately with no night kill I don't think it means we can necessarily lean town on realiti since mafia may need us to misquote in order for them to get to parity as fast as possible.
