gemcraft is bad, inferno meltdown is bad, cardboard box assembler is a cool idea but not very well executed, but probably worth a try, pokemon tower defence is bad, e7 has been posted before but was good to play through again

edit: ok "ownage burst" is also bad

Monster Ranch: Just like Pokemon Infinity, Monster Ranch is a browser-based game. You could call it a pokemon rip-off, but it's different and fun (addictive) in its own way. In Pokemon, you can only breed to perfection upto 31/31/31/31/31/31, but in MRO, there's no limit. You can breed however high powerful monsters (takes time, of course). I currently have the highest + breed monster in the game, and if you need some help you can always leave a comment on my ign (ceronys).
Did this get permission from Neoriceisgood? Because it certainly uses his sprites.

Don't know if someone posted this already but
Super Mario Crossover

It's basically Super Mario Bros but you can use characters as Megaman, Bill from Contra, Samus, Simon Belmont and such, is very fun and in extreme mode can be quite hard, specially if you use Megaman

Learn 2 Fly

It's your typical launch game, but is still fun, have lots of achievements, secrets, upgrades, etc

Amazing space shooter/RPG, even if you're not into anime faces (I am not). Really deep story and characters, thanks for showing me this puggy!
=)

While I'm here, may as well contribute

Reminds me of the metroid series. A solid platformer.

A visual novel with a dark but powerful story.

A card game based on intergalatic warfare between alien ships.

Tongue-in-cheek humour combined with ahuge world to explore makes for a good platforming experience.

Super mario 63 is fan made platformer in the mario universe. It's been a while since I've played it but I remember enjoying it and it's in my bookmarks, so I'm confident it's worth a shot.

TCT RPG is quirky little game that heavily draw inspiration from earthbound. The main thing to note as it has an excellent combat system with great boss battles.

ugh, I hate writing descriptions. It makes me feel like I'm trying to force these games down people's throats.

this is fantastic. i almost never play flash games but this has me hooked. curious if anyone is as into it as i am, i beat hard mode and now i'm doing a new game plus, i'm level 105 or something, part of me wants to see what the level cap is

I recently found MARDEK RPG again, and I have to say, I'm impressed.

It's basically an affectionate parody of early JRPGs, but it has some fairly strong production values and polish.

It's absurdly long for a Flash title-with 3 chapters (note that if you play on the same site, you can import saves between chapters, allowing for a continuous adventure), two of which are full-length games unto themselves (chapter 1 is a backstory, really, but the other two chapters take many hours to complete), it can rack up PLENTY of time.

The battle graphics are clean, the pseudo-8-bit overworld is cool, the game DOES manage to be serious when in needs to and humorous the rest of the time, and it has multiple secrets. The soundtrack is GLORIOUS. Overall, it's a great way to pass your summer vacation.

Here are all the chapters, and the official walkthrough (which is pretty much the best way to find the secrets.)

but what kind of dumbass game would even give you that as an option

IF YOU LIKE I CAN PLAY THIS GAME FOR YOU BUT IF YOU DON'T LIKE IT I WON'T. BUT LOOK HOW GOOD I AM

am i the only one thinking Az is trolling?

APPARENTLY DEVELOPERS GAVE SCROLLING SHOOTER GAMES AUTO FIRE BECAUSE EVERYBODY IS ALWAYS HOLDING THE FIRE BUTTON, UNLESS THERE'S ACCURACY AS A SCORE MODIFIER.

You aren't the only one, if by az you mean swaggersaurus.

He suggests Sonic Team comes up with good plots.

"Power of teamwork" my ass.

Nice to know he hasn't blasted MARDEK RPG, though.

Az, the least important part of the actual gameplay is rapidly tapping the mouse. If that gameplay is so important to you in a space shooter, I don't understand you at all. The aspects of the game that actually require thought and (somewhat) skill are the maneuvering of the ship and the selection of weapon at a given time. Rapidly clicking the mouse button is neither fun nor challenging nor what makes a game good.
