DNA Donors: Genesect + Tapu Koko
Offspring name: Gepu Seko
New Type: Electric/Steel
Base Stats: 80 (+10)/117/90/
117 (+10)/85/
134 (+20) (BST: 623)
New ability and desc: Digital Surge (Download + Electric Surge): Sets up Digital Terrain for 5 turns. Functions similarly to Electric Terrain, but also all Pokemon gain a +1 boost to Attack or Special Attack when they switch in, depending on the opponent's lower defense stat.
Notable Moves: Thunderbolt, Wild Charge, Flash Cannon, Iron Head, Ice Beam, Flamethrower, Dazzling Gleam, Volt Switch, U-Turn, Shift Gear, Defog, Roost, Taunt, Reflect, Light Screen, Extreme Speed, Explosion
Role Identification: A better Tapu Koko, with Ice Beam and just all around usefulness. It also becomes more powerful thanks to the Digital Surge boosts.
DNA Donors: Breloom + Necrozma-Dusk Mane
Offspring name: Necrozoom-Lightning Mcqueen
New Type: Fighting/Steel
Base Stats: 98 (+20)/143/103/86/84/
93 (+20) (BST: 607)
New ability and desc: Kachow (Prism Armor + Technician): The user takes 50% less damage from super effective moves and moves with 60 or below base power, and those same moves are powered up by 50%. These can stack with each other and they cannot be ignored by Mold Breaker.
Notable Moves: Sunsteel Strike, Superpower, Mach Punch, Drain Punch, Photon Geyser, Earthquake, Swords Dance, Morning Sun, Moonlight, Synthesis, Thunder Punch, Stone Edge, Force Palm, Rock Blast, Bullet Seed, Knock Off, Rock Polish, Spore
Role Identification: Kachow...I guess. Well, at least that's what the ability gives it, but no Kachow can save that Speed stat. It can, however, give a really good punch thanks to its 143 Attack and nice movepool. It's always nice to have a STAB priority move, especially as something as good as Mach Punch. Bulk and typing are good too, and it has Spore, so you really have to be weary. Even then, it also has the benefit of having the Ultra form, which is fine.
DNA Donors: Breloom + Necrozma-Dusk Mane (Ultra)
Offspring name: Necrozoom-Dinoco Blue Lightning Mcqueen
New Type: Fighting/Dragon
Base Stats: 98 (+20)/153/73/153/73/
145 (+20) (BST: 695)
New ability and desc: Neuroforce
Notable Moves: Same as before + Outrage, Dragon Pulse, Heat Wave, Focus Blast, Sludge Bomb, Vacuum Wave, Dark Pulse, Earth Power
Role Identification: K A C H O W ! NOW IT'S FAST. Anyways, the Dragon typing and improved Special Attack actually now gives it some mixup in its movepool, on top of having a Dragon STAB to abuse. On the other hand, you're losing a LOT of power with the lack of Kachow (the ability, not the ego), and a lot of bulk too. Not only that, Fairies will eat it for breakfest. On the other hand again, it doesn't have to rely on Mach Punch for many faster threats, and the special coverage isn't too shabby, especially with Light That Burns The Sky being a great nuke. Now only if the Light type existed, since Ultra Necrozma is A DRAGON MADE OF LIGHT AND PRISMS! PERFECT CHANCE AND IT WAS LOST! Though, it was a secondary game thing, so maybe Gen 8 will give the Light type to us (please)
DNA Donors: Probopass + Kyurem
Offspring name: Kyusas
New Type: Steel/Dragon
Base Stats: 112 (+20)/92/
127 (+10)/102/
130 (+10)/67 (BST: 630)
New ability and desc: Wibble Wobble (Sturdy + Pressure): Can survive up to 2 attacks at 1 HP (from any percentage), and will also remove 2 PP from that move. Going above 1 HP will reset it.
Notable moves: Flash Cannon, Draco Meteor, Dragon Pulse, Dragon Tail, Earth Power, Ice Beam, Thunderbolt, Roost, Stealth Rock, Taunt, Substitute
Role Identification: These 2 very different Pokemon have combined into something that is pretty good. While a bit on the slow side, it makes it up for having nice all around bulk and a great defensive typing. It's ability is also pretty unique (basically taken from Yo-kai Watch with a few modifications), giving it a few chances to survive and basically impossible to OHKO it without any sort of multi-hit move. It also has a bit of a offensive presence, too, with a decent amount of coverage to use and a passable Special Attack set.
DNA Donors: Floette-Eternal + Greninja (Battle Bond)
Offspring name: Floninja-Spiria
New Type: Water/Fairy
Base Stats: 73/80/67/
134 (+20)/99/
127 (+20) (BST: 580)
New ability and desc: The Spirit Within (Battle Bond + Flower Veil): When the user KOs a opponent, it will transform into Floninja-Ultima. Floninja-Ultima is immune to stat drops and status conditions, and Water Shruiken will be powered up to 20 BP and always hit 3 times.
Notable Moves: Moonblast, Hydro Pump, Light Of Ruin, Ice Beam, Psychic, Energy Ball, Dark Pulse, Spikes, Surf, U-Turn
Role Identification: While powerful, it's pretty limited when it comes to any true options. However, among it's initial KO....
DNA Donors: Floette-Eternal + Greninja-Ash
Offspring name: Floninja-Ultima
New Type: Water/Fairy
Base Stats: 73/130/67/
184 (+20)/99/
137 (+20) (BST: 690)
New ability and desc: The Spirit Within (Battle Bond + Flower Veil): When the user KOs a opponent, it will transform into Floninja-Ultima. Floninja-Ultima is immune to stat drops and status conditions, and Water Shruiken will be powered up to 20 BP and always hit 3 times.
Notable Moves: Moonblast, Hydro Pump, Light Of Ruin, Ice Beam, Psychic, Energy Ball, Dark Pulse, Spikes, Surf, Rock Slide, Gunk Shot, U-Turn, Water Shruiken, Petal Blizzard, Low Kick
Role Identification: ....this is the result. Terrific offensive power, along with good STABS and priority, and a immunity to stat drops and status makes this a formidable foe.
DNA Donors: Xatu + Lunala
Offspring name: Xanatu
New Type: Ghost/Flying
Base Stats: 106 (+5)/
104 (+10)/
99 (+20)/
121 (+5)/88/96 (BST: 614)
New ability and desc: Xatulovania (Magic Bounce + Shadow Shield): At full HP, this Pokemon takes 50% from all moves and reflects back the other 50% at the target, as well as reflecting status moves. The former is lost if below full HP. This ability cannot be bypassed. (Undocumented effect: Plays the music shown below)
Notable Moves: Moongeist Beam, Air Slash, Ice Beam, Heat Wave, Moonblast, Roost, Thunder, U-Turn,
Role Identification: Xatu will kill you. Ability gives it a nice counter option, and plenty of moves to make up for its below average speed. Xatu best. (Espeon couldn't cut it).
DNA Donors: Araquanid + Xerneas
Offspring name: Araquaas
New Type: Bug/Fairy
Base Stats: 117 (+20)/100/
113 (+20)/90/115/70 (BST: 605)
New ability and desc: Pixie Amp (Water Bubble + Fairy Aura): All Pokemon on the field are immune to status conditions, have their Dragon and Fire-type moves halved in power, and doubles the power of their Fairy-type moves whenever its out.
Notable Moves: Moonblast, Leech Life, Megahorn, Sticky Web, Magic Coat, Close Combat, Geomancy, Thunderbolt, Rock Slide, Ice Beam, Ingrain, Poison Jab, Crunch, Lunge, Focus Blast, Defog, Aromatherapy, Grass Knot, Thunder, Flash Cannon
Role Identification: And here we end off on a more "balanced" note, mostly because that Araquanid's almost broken ability makes about anything broken when fused with something, almost. You can't be statused, but so they can't. You can take less damage from some moves, but so do they (even then, why run Outrage when you have Moonblast). You have ridiculously powerful Moonblasts even without much investment, but so do they. It's stats are somewhat averaged up, and with a Geomancy up, Moonblast is through the roof! Also, Sticky Web and Geomancy, and a Bug/Fairy type. Too bad for no Bug Buzz.
