HGSS Megaspeculation Thread

A-I dont' really know what A is but as I start to look at it that looks like the path to Mt Silver

B-Thought this was part of the path to Mt. Silver, looks like it's right in front of it where the pokemon center would be but now that I'm starting to think A might be the path (at a close look A is like the maze to the Mountain) I don't really know what B is because I still think the white Mountain is Mt Silver but I now see that west of New Bark town it looks just like the path to victory road where you go west and than north,

C- The triangle you drew doesnt look like the place where you can than go east and to Viridan but that trapezoid to the right that you drew does

I don't really know what B is, maybe it is Indigo Plateau, in GSC Mt Silver was the the easternmost part of Johto while Indigo Plateau was the the Westernmost part of Kanto, geographically they were probably really close you just couldn't see both maps
 
It'd make sense if the tallest, and only silver, mountain was Mt. Silver after all. Mt. Silver should really be something special, seeing as it's the 'final challenge' and everything. Maybe the dungeon leads up to the silver peak that's in the map? Just a thought. It's a long shot but it might be something along those lines. After all, we never did get to see the actual peak and where it was.
 
Yeah, scrolling through the Pokedex is a pain. But scrolling through your bag is even more of a pain. We need our PC Boxes back but still Unlimited bag storage...I hate having to Select(move) something to get somewhere quicker.

Wow so i was actually right with my guess about new zones back then, it seems there is going to be something new behind Cianwood :D i really really wonder what's that.

I would like Arael had a lucky guess about that golden place, it looks kinda like a forest, having another "high level trainer" to battle there or a legend would be good.

Maybe the "Golden Forest" is where you can get Celebi.
 
Awesome! It is great to ehar that one can catch Lugia if One buys Heartgold and Vice Versa. Oh Myself and many others are so glad to hear that importing Platinum finally paid off. I can download Jiraichi to help complete my pokedex and unlock a new event. I hope we get the release date soon.

I'm pretty sure it said somewhere that you can also download Jirachi on D/P
 
idk if its japan is going to extend their arms or not, if they dont its gonna really suck and be the air of notfairness that they provide....but, im tryin anyways, im gonna try mystergift first, and then ds download station at gamestop and ds download play launched by the wii
 
Going by the Pokedex screenshot it looks like evolutions of Johto Pokemon won't be obtainable pre-E4, ah well was kinda expected.

I would guess that they wouldn't make them exclusive to each version if they're trying to replicate G/S where you could catch both (unless I remember wrong that is) originally.

You could definitely get both birds in the originals. The one that matches the version at Lv40 and the other at Lv70. They'd better not change it, my reason being I don't want to be forced to get HG for Ho-oh.

I wonder how much of the funny stuff'll stay, like the foreign Team Rocket grunt ("Team Rocket bye-bye a go-go?") and the Farfetch'd in Ilex Forest crashing into that tree while you're chasing it.

lol I completely forgot about that Farfetch'd! I hope they keep it in there, I loved that part!
 
The different colored Pichu you were talking about is the event Pichu from the new movie comming out; whichever pokemon is first in your party will follow you.

Yes you could get both in the originals, as MegaMewtwo said. And you can get both in HGSS, as confirmed here.
 
Hmm, i know it's still a rumor at this point where breeding 2 different pokemon results in a physical difference in the offspring, but that could have an interesting effect on battling.

Some pokemon can only get egg moves from one specific parent so you may know a pokemon's moveset based solely on the physical appearance!
