Don't try too hard guys. Let's compare to what we can already see. The first one has a silhouette on the top left which, when you compare to the Arceus keychain, looks like the shape of Arceus' head looking up and to the right. The second one looks like it has a Pichu on the left (diamond-shaped ear and foot) and the right side clearly has Pikachu. The right-most keychain is a hard call. It looks like it MIGHT be a Raichu, but by the width of the space between those ears, it's a pretty chubby one. I guess it could be anything, but I doubt it is something new.

I don't know any dates or anything, but Munchlax was revealed before Emerald was released, so it sounds about right to me. Plus, trying to make out Pokemon in those silhouettes is beyond stupid. If you blacked out the Giratina-o one, it would have just one black protrusion. It could be anything.
It could be more than one Pokemon grouped together like some of the other Keychains to trick us...

Anyway, i'm definetly thinking new forms. I don't know if I'm happy or sad to see new pokes in the metagame -_-. Depends on what they're like I guess. Pherhaps a scizor and salamence counter forms to balance the metagame? (as if)

Well, it was pretty obvious that the first one was Arceus and the second was Pikachu. I'm still curious about the last one though. I'd say it's nothing new, but we did kind of find out about Skymin because of an image of a bunch of pens >_>

Actually, that just says "most likely not new Pokemon", not that they definitely aren't.
Though, even if they are new Pokemon, the most gametime they'd get would be random cameos and wouldn't affect anything. So the only real options for altering the metagame could be alt forms like Shaymin and Giratina got.
I guess they changed it because it definitely said they were not new pokemon at the time I posted the link =(

judging by how long its takes between (gens 5-6 years), the next gen should be around 2012, meaning that they are showing new pokemon 3 years before it's release.

I want you to type Fakemon into google. The ideas for Pokemon are endless. They could pump out new Pokemon for an eternity if need be.
I'm sure I could come up with another 100+ Pokemon in a single one hour sitting.
At least in the first two gens they spent some time and effort on designing. Compare: Lugia,Mewtwo and Ho-oh vs Dialga/Palkia/Giratina. The latter three are just randomly drawn Pokes.

Uh...hasn't Pokemon ALWAYS been for money? Do you seriously think Nintendo sit down and think 'This is for the fans'?

Because a very high number of things is like that. They start in a primitive way, remove the primitive elements after some time and after the peak start to be commercial if they weren't and if they were then they start to be even more commercial.
Um, no, it's typically 3-4 years between generations (check the release dates again), and it is now approaching 3 years since D/P's release in Japan.
@ Sceats: I'm not even sure what it means for a design to be 'commercial'. Does it mean 'cute and cuddly', therefore appealing to little kids? I wouldn't think so, because we've had our fair share of ugly 'mons up until now.
Munchlax was revealed in May 2004. Since that was five years ago, I think it is about time new Pokemon were announced. It was even in Pokemon XD: Gale of Darkness, alongside Bonsly.
